Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services are investigating Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. Shortly after she gave birth allegations of alcohol and drug abuse was filed with the DCFS. By law they have to investigate the matter. Someone filed allegations that Mimi and Nick were celebrating the birth of their twins and renewal of their vows by eating bottles of booze and making it rain various drugs.
“Under California law, anytime there is any allegation made involving the welfare and safety of a child, DCFS is required to investigate. Mariah was extremely cooperative with DCFS and answered all the questions. Mariah understood why Nick was upset. He was just trying to protect her, and the twins.”
The case will remain open for another week in the interest of “caution” according to Radar‘s sources.
