People were shocked last week when Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger announced they were splitting up after 25 years of marriage. Sources close to the couple were saying that Maria had been unhappy for many years, but now the reasons behind the Schwarzenegger-Shriver split just became a little clearer!
Arnold not only had an affair behind her back, but he also fathered a child with a member of he and Maria’s household staff (who incidentally worked for the couple for more than 20 years!). Arnold came clean to Maria that he had an affair with a member of their house staff more than a decade ago she continued to work in their home 10 years after the child was born!
Per TMZ:
“After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago. I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry. I ask that the media respect my wife and children through this extremely difficult time. While I deserve your attention and criticism, my family does not.”
A celebrity cheater? A politician cheated? I mean we’ve heard this story time and time again. I just wonder if more woman will come out and admit they too had an affair with Arnold. Add him to the list of celebrity D-Bags right up there next to Tiger Woods and Jesse James.
