Kate Middleton Infertile ?! Tabloid Goes Too Far

This is one of those stories that I, a humble blogger who is often equated with Lucifer with my little no-heart Care Bear status, find crossing the line. Much like the story of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twins’ rumored down syndrome by Enquirer. (Click HERE for a recap of that story…)

In Touch (via Jezebel is running with the cover story that Kate Middleton is “heartbroken” because the mag insists she cannot get pregnant. Girl, just got married and enjoyed her honeymoon. Isn’t it a little too soon to be attacking her with below the belt (literally) jabs.

“Kate’s new mother-in-law Camilla has been telling friends the royal bride has fertility problems which may prevent her from getting pregnant — according to sources. If the claims are true, the newlyweds are facing up to the fact that they may never produce an heir to the British throne!

“Health complications from Kate‘s adolescence raised red flags that may have an impact on her ability to conceive,” sources close to Camilla have told In In Touch Magazine.

If it is true then Camilla needs to STFU. However, I doubt the validity. The mag ran with a story that the Royals were preparing for a baby. Insiders told the mag Prince William and Kate were hoping to be pregnant by June in their April issue. Their story went as deep as to reveal that the couple were planning on naming their children Edward or Andrew for a boy and Alice or Rose for a girl. If Kate couldn’t conceive then and, as In Touch’s new report insists, married anyway…why would they pick out names?

Did the mag go too far or should Kate buckle up for years of this?

  3. kokoabware says:

people stop it. camillia did not say that, she’s the perfect fall guy. and so what if it’s true? maybe they could prove that they are modern royalty and adopt. change is good. kate does not care anyway(there’s speculation about william’s sexuality and body language from the wedding) she’s focused on living the good life

  4. Dana says:

Or here’s a crazy idea, how about they NOT participate in child trafficking, and instead just take their life as it comes, and if they don’t produce an heir, there’s always Harry or one of the royal cousins? There’s a reason royals have as many kids as they can manage. It keeps the throne in the family.

  5. Kim says:

Dana, how is adoption “child trafficking”?

omplain@kokoabware: Don’t shoot the messenger! In-Touch magazine is the one who said Camilla was gossiping about her daughter-in-law. The cover of the magazine also says a “royal doctor” confirmed “she can’t have children”. Who’s that big-mouthed doctor? Magazine doesn’t say.

Also, probably this is one couple who truly can’t adopt, or if they do, doubt the adopted child could inherit the throne. No expert, just sayin’.

This story is totally crossing the line i mean wasn’t a simalar magazine saying she was pregnant a week before the wedding. Obviously they will have kids at some point for and heir and they have picked out names, but give the girl a break!

  9. Zaza says:

I love Will and Kate so much and wish them all the best!
God, bless them and please give them children!

  10. Kyara says:

Isn’t it a bit soon for them to be starting a family? Is it really anyone’s business when they even want to start a family? Why don’t we all just leave them alone?

  11. Jasjotbains says:

Camilla needs to STFU !! Let her enjoy her honeymoon for heaven’s sale !!

  12. Sarah says:

Why is everyone blaming her? Maybe his royal highness has a low sperm count, or abnormally shaped sperm, or low sperm motility, or sperm antibodies, or veroscele, or retrograde ejaculation, or low potency, or he just can’t do the job? What century are we in that everyone immediately blames the girl?
