Sean Kingston was listed in critical condition after crashing into a bridge while on a jet ski.
The ‘Beautiful Girls’ singer was enjoying some down time on Sunday with a female companion on the water when he crashed into the Palm Island Bridge (photo below). A Good Samartian lifted Sean and his friend from the water and transported them to a trauma center in Miami around 6 P.M.
“Sean was heading west from the MacArthur Causeway and Miami Beach Islands when his personal watercraft collided with the bridge, and he and his female passenger ended up in the water,” Jorge Pino, spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, the lead investigative agency of the accident confirmed to People.
Reps confirmed that he has been moved from trauma to ICU.
“Sean Kingston is now stabilized and has moved from the trauma unit to ICU. Sean’s family thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time.”
No alcohol was involved according to the investigator. He suggested that reckless driving is usually the cause of accidents like this, but mentioned that bad driving may “not necessarily be the cause” of Kingston’s crash.
Either way, we wish him a speedy and complete recovery.
