Lady Gaga Hates Her ‘Telephone’ Video

Time Out magazine (Via MTV UK) reports that Lady Gaga isn’t a fan of her own work. Gaga teamed up with Beyonce to crank out a Thelma and Louise-esque video for ‘Telephone.’ The end result has her unable to watch the final product thanks to her abhorrence.

In true Gaga style, she tried to bring the typical shock factor mixed with messages she wanted to convey all while pushing boundaries.

“I can’t even watch the ‘Telephone’ video, I hate it so much. Beyoncé and I are great together. But there are so many ideas in that video and all I see in that video is my brain throbbing with ideas and I wish I had edited myself a little bit more.”

Lesbian jailhouse brawls mixed with gigantic cowgirl hats may not have pleased her, but a much less fan appreciated video is her favorite. Gaga lists ‘Alejandro’ as her best work.

“It’s funny because I know a lot of kids on the Popjustice forum didn’t like the ‘Alejandro’ video, but that was my favorite of all my videos.”

    honestly agree 100% with gaga!

I love her Alejandro video. The contradicting imagery one has in mind when listening to the song, and the somber reality of the video, make it hauntingly beautiful.

That video, Paparazzi and Bad Romance, the latter being her greatest masterpiece, are my favs.

I would list her top flops videos as:
    Born This Way
    Telephone
(& I’m on the border with it as it strikes me as a dud and a great work of art at the same time)
    Judas

The rest like Poker Face, Just Dance, Love Game and Eh Eh, are fun in their own ways but not as bold as her newest works, and for that, you must commend gaga for at least trying.
