An announcement is also teased if you click one of the owls perched on separate branches. You are then taken to a video countdown to the day of the announcement which, as of today is 6 days away! Rowling captions the continuous count with the words, “The Owls are Gathering…Find Out Why Soon.”
Before you explode Harry Potter geekdom everywhere, Scholastic has already confirmed to Bookseller that the news is NOT new book.
“It is not another Harry Potter book but we cannot reveal any more at this stage, fans will have to keep an eye on the website. It will be launching soon.”
