51-Year-Old Doug Hutchinson Marries 16-Year-Old Courtney Stodden

There are so many things wrong with this story that I don’t know where to begin. So, let’s just jump right, in shall we? Doug Hutchinson, who just so happens to be 51 years old, has married Courtney Stodden (random nobody – until now) who is only 16 years old! Now, I’m about to show you their picture but lemme just say that in my ENTIRE life I’ve never seen a 16-year-old who looks like this! 16!!! Must be all the hormones they put in milk these days.

In most states, the “age of majority” — as in, the age when minors become grownups — is 18. A few states are even stricter and withhold the age of majority until 19 or even 21. Kids in many states can legally grow up before that, if they, say, graduate from high school at an earlier age — or get permission from mommy and daddy.

Her mom had to sign the marriage license, because Courtney is too young, and said this: “Courtney was a virgin when she married Doug. She is a good Christian girl.” Also, this: “She is a beautiful girl. She has real breasts, real lips.”

So, how did the two get involved? The fact that Stodden is signed to Hutchison’s production company, Dark Water, might have something to do with it. A former beauty pageant queen (she competed for the title of Miss Teen Washington USA last year), the new Mrs. Hutchinson is trying to make it as a country music crooner. He may well be best known for his role as the disgustingly wormy Percy Wetmore from “The Green Mile.” Recently, he starred as the Dharma Initiative’s Horace Goodspeed in “Lost.” But his best role (according to me and other sci-fi nerds I’m sure) was Eugene Tooms in “The X-Files.” Publicity stunt? Maybe. Are they looking for a reality show, perhaps? Whatever they’re doing, they need to stop right now — it’s creepy!
