Many of us have experienced those awkward moments during which our minds go blank and we can’t figure out the words we need to say. I’m sure it’s just never happened to any of us on live TV. But just in case we ever need to cope with such an issue, Black Eyed Peas member Will.i.am has demonstrated how to handle things – by whipping out a cellphone.

The Black Eyed Peas recently appeared on a French TV show performing in front of a studio audience alongside Belgian rapper Stromae. It’s too bad Will.i.am couldn’t quite remember the words to his own song. The group was performing their new song “Don’t Stop The Party” mashed up with Stromae’s “Alors On Dance” on the show “Taratata” but it seems like Will.i.am didn’t get the memo… or lyrics. He was spotted on stage reading his rap off of a cell phone and still messing up the end of his verse.
