Victoria Beckham gave birth to her first baby girl on Sunday morning. Sunday Rose can put the shade away because the Beckhams didn’t touch the weekend name. (Personally, I always think of a delicious Sunday roast when the subject of Nicole Kidman’s offspring pops up.)
David Beckham announced their baby girl’s name via Facebook…
“I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham. She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx”
The couple went with Seven as she was born in the seventh month at 7:55 and weighed 7 lbs. It also happens to be David’s old Manchester United jersey and the exact number of calories Victoria eats a day. I can almost hear the squinty eyed wails of George Costanza. I give it a thumbs up. Harper Seven sounds like a rag tag team of teens fighting crime with quotes from ‘To Kill a Mockingbird.’
Now if you’ll excuse me I have to pitch a new show idea to PBS.
