Seems like we’ve got a domestic dispute on our hands! ‘Gossip Girl‘ star Leighton Meester has officially filed a lawsuit against her own mother, Constance Meester.
Over the weekend, Leighton sued her mother over claims that she used money intended for her little brother for personal needs. These needs included botox, new hair extensions (sew that weave in gurl!), and some plastic surgery. Leighton’s younger brother, Lex, reportedly has severe medical issues so she would send him $7,500 a month to cover his expenses. I guess momma got to it first. Finders keepers? OK, that’s so wrong.
According to this suit, Momma Meester refused to have a job and alleges that Leighton had an oral contract with her stating that she was to give her $10,000 a month for life. Um, what? Why? But now the angry momma is threatening a lawsuit of her own.
Per TMZ:
Leighton claims her mom threatened to file a $3 million lawsuit against her unless Leighton started coughing up the dough. Leighton wants the judge to declare there’s no contract between her and her mom.
Let’s not forget what Constance Meester is capable of, guys. Before Leighton was born back in the day (1986), her mom was arrested for smuggling weed from Jamaica to the United States. As a result, Leighton was born in a halfway house. Another celebrity with a dysfunctional family. Imagine that.
