If you believe everything you read on the internet, then Janet Jackson is engaged. So far none of your typically reliable media sources have confirmed the news, but we are going to take a looksie at it anyway.
Janet started dating Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana in 2009. The current engagement rumor insists that they have actually been engaged for over a year, but waited to make the announcement until she was done with her world tour. According to National Enquirer, “friends” and “sources” say that Janet and Wissam will be making the official engagement announcement by the end of this summer.
“Now Janet’s telling friends that an official engagement will come by summer’s end, and that she and Wissam will marry in late 2011 – and they’re shopping for an even bigger diamond ring to celebrate their official engagement.”
Their report goes on to describe Jackson’s baby plans. If their story is true, then they will eager to start a family and may try to adopt.
Reps have yet to comment on this so file it under plausible. Hey, everyone has to get one right at some point. NE did break the John Edwards affair. So that would make it something like Enquirer – 7, Reality 265,145.
