Charles ‘Bubba’ Smith has gone to the great big field in the sky. The NFL great turned ‘Police Academy’ star was found dead in his L.A. home on Wednesday.
Smith was just 66 years old and a cause of death is still a mystery. Cops told TMZ that they received a 911 call and responded along with the fire department. His caretaker found him unresponsive and called for help. Sadly, he was already dead when help arrived. The coroner is investigating, but authorities are suggesting natural causes claimed his life.
