Yesterday we were treated to Henry Cavill as Superman in the new ‘Man of Steel’ movie. Today we get Anne Hathaway in her official Catwoman costume for ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’
Hathaway plays Selina Kyle in the third Batman film being brought to life by Christopher Nolan. This is supposedly due to be his last Batman film, but only time will truly tell.
Opinions on the Catwoman costume are mixed. The goal for the look was NOT to be some Halloween costume dripping sexy with a leather studded bra. Rumors attached to the details her gear insisted that the design was based on the original comic book drawings. Catwoman’s goggles were thought to be returning along with a simple mask. Why do I have a feeling this isn’t the only version of her costume we will be treated with?
Another question that comes to mind with this official image of Hathaway as Catwoman is…”Why is she riding Batman’s Batpod?!?” Plot details are being heavily guarded so we will just have to theorize at this point.
