You know you’ve gone down hill when you can’t even get work as a stripper! Reports are claiming that Lindsay Lohan was very close to landing a role in the upcoming film ‘Magic Mike,’ and would have played Alex Pettyfer’s girlfriend described as a character that’s “trouble with a capital T.” That’s pretty much Lindsay in a nutshell. Instead, the part went to Riley Keough (Elvis’ granddaughter and Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter). But why did producer Steven Soderbergh choose a newbie over a “seasoned vet?”
Per E! Online:
We hear that Linds was S.S.’s top pick to play the part (he thought she’d be perfect for it), but after approaching the party gal (and her peeps, too) about a potential big screen comeback role, decided that it wasn’t worth the trouble.
That’s probably a good call if he wants to actually finish his film on time and on budget. Perhaps this is just the beginning of a long line of rejections that she is going to see in the future. Unfortunately there are consequences to actions, and unless or until Lohan starts showing she is clean and sober and continuing to behave as a clean and sober adult nobody legit is going to want to hire her. Perhaps it’s time for her to venture out into another career direction! With all her experience in a courtroom these days, she may have what it takes to make a great lawyer (no way can BS her way out of trouble like this girl).
