BEYONCE is expecting her first baby with husband JAY-Z.
The pop superstar stunned photographers, fans and the press at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night (28Aug11) by cradling her stomach and showing off a baby bump as she posed for red carpet photos in a flowing red gown.
Her representative confirms to People.com, “I’m happy to say it’s true.”
The gossip sites and blogs went into overdrive as photos of the magical moment shot around the globe via the Internet and several stars took to their Twitter.com accounts to congratulate the stars.
Beyonce’s former Destiny’s Child bandmate LeToya Luckett told fans, “WOW!! In tears!! Congrat’s BEY & JAY!”, while Jordin Sparks added, “Omg Bey is pregnant. I just squealed!!!” (CL&KL/WNWC/CL)
