Adam Levine has once again made a controversial statement. After slamming “American Idol” and MTV, Levine is taking a jab at Fox News. Today, Maroon 5 fans are reacting.
Per Billboard:
“Dear Fox News, don’t play our music on your evil f*cking channel ever again. Thank you,” the singer and “The Voice” mentor tweeted on Wednesday.
It is unclear what led him to unleash the angry tweet, it’s possible his pants were simply on too tight… While the network didn’t have an official statement regarding the tweet or which of his songs in particular that Levine was referring to, Fox News hosts Andy Levy and Greg Gutfeld of the late night show “Red Eye” responded personally to Levine on Twitter. Levy wrote back , “Dear @AdamLevine, don’t make crappy f–king music ever again. Thank you,” while Gutfeld fired off tweets from his page like, “Dear adam, That’s not music” and “fun joke: why did Maroon 5 cross the road? because crappy music is legal there! @adamlevine.”
After his blast on FOX’s reality show “Idol” for not allowing gay performers to come out of the closet from the start and his outburst against MTV for ‘pretending to care about music’, fans are becoming concerned that Adam is Hollywood’s new loudmouth. With “The Voice” returning for it’s second run on NBC, we’re sure Adam will take a lesson from the Dixie Chicks and move like jagger…
