In Glamour’s December issue, Jennifer Lopez appears on the cover, looking beautiful and fit. In her accompanying feature, La Lopez explained why she fired a manager who suggested that she lose weight. She spoke with Jane Fonda for the article in the magazine, which has named J-Lo Woman of the Year. Fonda asked Lopez to elaborate on the rumor, to which J-Lo responded:

“I was just so infuriated that somebody said you couldn’t have a little extra meat on you – because I was by no means fat! That was so mean and closed-minded.”
Sure was! She added that she considered it important to remain true to herself.
“No, this is who I am and this is the type of woman that I grew up with and it was beautiful and there’s no reason to be anybody but myself.”
Amen, sister. While I think there is nothing wrong with her body, there IS something wrong with her stage outfits. Someone needs to tell her today to stop trying to ‘rock’ those silver spiderweb body suits.
