Lindsay Lohan is making sure her title as Professional Screw Up from the land of F.U.B.A.R. After leaving $10K in cash laying around in an unlocked car (dealers don’t accept American Express), she is failing to pimp her own Playboy spread.
She was due to stop by ‘Ellen’ to launch the Playboy cover featuring her best Amanda Lepore imitating Anna Nicole Smith pose that everyone has already seen thanks to a leak. (Read “leak” as Dina Lohan “accidentally” dropping an issue in the lap of someone who offered her $20, some Crest White Strips and a pack of Camel Lights.) However, Lindsay managed to miss the scheduled taping that was contractually obligated and planned 2 months ago. An insider confirmed to Gossip Cop that Lohan didn’t even bother to call to let them know she wasn’t coming…
Gossip Cop has learned the actress did NOT board her flight from Hawaii to Los Angeles. “Not a call or an apology from Lindsay,” a show insider tells us.
A rep for Lindsay spat out this excuse…
“Lindsay was delayed in Hawaii due to a travel-related issue. She will be heading back this evening in time to appear in court tomorrow. Lindsay offered to tape ‘Ellen’ tomorrow, but the show was unable to shift things around, and tomorrow is their last day of taping for the season.”
Go ahead a read “travel related issue” as “Lindsay was still passed out from the whiskey tango fueled coke binge that $1 million spread bought her. “ So Ellen, her entire show staff, the audience and other guests were supposed to throw together an extra show or move the taping just for her? Insert a thousand laughs.
Why Ellen was slumming it with this mess is beyond me. Perhaps I am underestimating the appeal of Lindsay’s track ridden pastiness in a fresh weave among housewives and memaws.
If there is one thing I have learned in life, it’s never piss off a power lesbian. And you certainly make sure you curtsey in the presence of Ellen DeGeneres.
