Snoop Dogg is facing a minor drug charge in Texas after border agents say they found multiple joints on his tour bus! Imagine that! Fun Fact: Country singer Willie Nelson was arrested in November 2010 for marijuana possession at that same checkpoint!
Snoop was arrested on Saturday at the Sierra Blanca highway checkpoint and was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. It won’t hit his wallet too hard as it’s only a fine of $537! His latest charge only adds to the list he already put together!
Per TMZ:
We’re told the border patrol ran a standard inspection of the bus with the dog … when the animal alerted the agents to a possible hit in a waste basket in the back of the vehicle.The agents claim they found a red prescription bottle with several joints inside. We’re told the bottle contained under a half-ounce of weed.
Cops say Snoop admitted the dope belonged to him. Snoop has a prescription for cannabis in California, but law enforcement tells us, there is a zero tolerance policy for weed in Texas … regardless of his status in other states.
That’s lazy, Texas police. Of course he had weed. You know they only search that bus because they knew Snoop was in there. Is anyone really surprised? What surprises me the most is that all they found was a couple of joints. I would have expected at least an ounce.
