We knew Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s baby Blue Ivy was going to be influential, but this just isn’t what we expected. Not only is she the youngest person to appear on the Billboard charts, but now she’s the youngest to have her own strain of marijuana named after her! The grey area between State and Federal laws in California allow marijuana dispensaries to continue with business as usual and it looks like even the stoners are staying in tune with pop culture.

TMZ has learned, multiple weed dispensaries in Hollywood are cashing in on hip hop’s baby princess … by selling a new strain of marijuana called “OG Blue Ivy.”
Parents who name their children weird names should expect this. How about Blue Ivy toilet bowl cleanser?
Needless to say, Beyoncé and Jay-Z haven’t given the thumbs up to this particular endorsement, but they don’t have a trademark on their daughter’s name and so far the stores haven’t received any sort of legal notice from the couple. You know they can’t be too happy about their daughter’s name being used to push pot. I foresee years of psychological therapy in this kid’s near future… and yes, it will be the parents’ fault.
