Whitney Houston’s ex-husband Bobby Brown will not be getting an invite to her funeral on Saturday in New Jersey if the rumors are true! Houston’s family reportedly contacted Brown and told him not to attempt to come as they don’t want him there. Brown has been trying to see his daughter since the death of his ex-wife – but family won’t let him see her.
Per TMZ:
Sources close to Bobby tell us he hasn’t connected with Bobbi Kristina since arriving in L.A. Sunday night — despite placing several phone calls and making an attempt to physically see her … early this morning. We’re told Brown was turned away by Whitney’s family and friends … who are caring for BK at a home in the Los Angeles area.
However, A source close to Brown claims there is no tension between him and his ex-wife’s family, and that he has been in contact about making the trip to New Hope Baptist Church in Newark Saturday. One of Houston’s family members told ABC News that while many people in the family don’t want Brown to attend the funeral, they can’t stop him because of his daughter with Houston.
Hopefully everyone can put their differences aside and let Whitney be laid to rest peacefully.
