Adele won Album of the Year at this years BRIT Awards and flipped off the awards show executives at the end of the show. This was no good-spirited jest: Adele was angry that the BRIT Awards host, at heeding from the show’s production executives, cut off her heartfelt acceptance speech for the biggest award of the night.
Adele was saying, “Thank you very, very much. Nothing is better than coming home with six Grammies and winning Album of the Year. Nothing makes me prouder than to be British.” That’s when show host James Corden cut Adele off to cut to a show-closing live performance by the band Blur and drew angry boos from the crowd. Adele quickly flipped her middle finger at the cameras broadcasting the award ceremony. Although Adele’s heartbroken songs may lead you to believe otherwise, this lady’s not afraid to stand up for herself!

The star said afterwards: ‘I was about to thank the British public for their support. They cut me off, sorry if I offended anyone but the suits offended me. I got cut off during my speech and flung the middle finger. But that finger was to the suits at the Brit Awards, not to my fans.’
Giving the bird wasn’t the only reason people were talking about Adele’s fingers… She was also sporting a gold diamond sparkler on her wedding finger, with various magazines claiming that she’s only started wearing the ring recently, fueling talk of an engagement to her boyfriend Simon Konecki. There’s been no confirmation of that – yet – but if the rumors are true, sources have been saying that Simon has been considering proposing recently. However, to play devil’s advocate, Adele wore an entirely different ring on her engagement finger at the Grammys two weeks ago, so she could just simply like wearing rings on that particular finger – either that or she’s toying with our emotions.
