Bobbi Kristina is the sole beneficiary in Whitney Houston’s will. Looks like Bobby Brown will have to cancel the Boats N’ Hoes yacht party.
Whitney’s daughter will get everything. The will, which was updated in 2000 while still married, gives the ‘I Will Always Love You’ singer’s entire fortune to Bobbi. Brown will only see a dime of Houston’s fortune if Kristina dies. A judge validated the 19 page document and it was revealed that in the event of Bobbi Kristina’s death, Bobby Brown and several relatives would be left to split her estate. However, any of Whitney’s jewelry would go to her mother, Cissy, if Kristina died.
As for Whitney’s tangible estate, Bobby, Cissy, her father and brothers would have to collectively decided how to split everything. If they couldn’t come to an agreement, they would have to sell everything and split the money.
Kristina is 19 and everything will be put into a trust until she turns 21. Upon coming of age she will get a portion of the estate and a second lump sum when she is 25 with a final payout upon turning 30.
I am no genius and this will probably sound very Nancy Grace, but if I were Bobbi Kristina I’d change my name, move to Key West and create a will that would give everything to charity in the event I died.
