I never like to end my first shift of celebrity gossip with a Celebrity Loss story, but the ’60 Minutes’ vet has gone to the great big undercover investigative reporter’s break room in the sky. Mike Wallace has died at the age of 93.
Mike was a pro at ambush interviews, rose from a public battle with depression and endured a huge lawsuit that nearly ended his career. Wallace even schooled Vladimir Putin and interviewed Martin Luther King, Malcom X, Ronald Reagan, John Kennedy, Jimmy Carter, Eleanor Roosevelt, Tina Turner, Barbara Streisand and many other famous faces.
Mike was surrounded by his family as he lost his battle with a long term illness and passed away on Easter Sunday.
You will be missed Mr. Wallace.
