‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ Movie Mistakes

Before you go all Bellatrix Lestrange on me, this is just for funsies. We already delved into the goofs made in ‘The Avengers,’ ‘The Hunger Games‘ and ‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn.’ So we will add to the list with my personal favorite, ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.’

This could contain spoilers for those who haven’t seen/read the Potter series.

During Snape’s memory montage, a scene of Lily telling toddler Harry to be safe and strong plays. Snape wasn’t in the room until Lily after Lily was killed by Voldemort, so he could not have that memory.

As Kreacher and Dobby are wrangling Mundungus in the kitchen at Grimmauld Place, some pots, pans, bottles and baskets change locations throughout the scene.

As Bellatrix tortures Hermione by carving “Mudblood” into Hermione’s arm, she starts cutting on her right arm but is later show marking her left arm.

In the scene where Snatchers catch the trio, Hermione stuns Harry and hides his glasses in her pocket to disguise him. Later, Harry pulls his glasses from his pocket when they are in the cellar and Hermione is being tortured by Bellatrix.

The color and style of Lily’s top changes. Voldemort kills her and she is wearing a red long sleeved sweater. When Snape is crying over her body she is suddenly wearing a blue shirt.

As Harry, Hermione and Ron disapparate from Bill and Fleur’s wedding Ron is on Hermione’s right and Harry the left. When they appear on Shaftesbury Avenue Ron and Harry have switched places.

Harry’s stubble disappears and reappears in the scene where he meets Aberforth.

Mrs. Norris’ eyes are no longer red as they were in the other films and all the books.

When Harry and Hermione are trying to decide whether or not to go to Godrick’s Hallow, Hermione’s book open and closes throughout the scene.

When the waitress serves the trio in the coffee shop after they escape the Deatheaters appearance at Bill and Fleur’s wedding, she walks the same path twice.

As Nevill is taunting the army of snatchers outside the spell protecting Hogwarts, his location changes. He starts in the middle of the bridge when the snatchers run out of the forest, but he is suddenly at the entrance when several are killed trying to penetrate the shield.
