Now that the games are winding to an end and some athletes have finished their events it’s time to cut loose at da club.
These people have been training, working and dedicating their life to their chosen sport while treating their bodies like a temple. So what better way to celebrate than to get balls drunk with your new bling?
I should put an obligatory “moderation is fab” or “drink responsibly” thought here, but it seems hypocritical. If I hadn’t touched alcohol or a bread stick in months, I’d be out hitting up every Olive Garden in the tri-state area and swimming in a kiddie pool full of vodka. South African Olympic swimmer, Jean Basson, might have had a little too much. He was escorted out by a security guard at Chinawhite nightclub.
Michael Phelps was also out clubbing this weekend…with his medals. Seriously. That’s like wearing a t-shirt of the band you are in. I digress he has multiple gold medals and I have zero, so I guess I don’t get to throw shade at this one. It was also revealed that he is dating Megan Rossee who, surprise, is an aspiring model according to Hollyscoop.
“She and Phelps began dating in January (2012) and things started to heat up just prior to the Olympics,” says the source. “At the time when they began dating, baseball and television star Doug Reinhardt was crushing on her too, but she chose to be with Michael instead.”
