MTV has confirmed that ‘Jersey Shore’ has been cancelled. The sixt and final season has wrapped and will make it’s final debut on October 4th.
“On Thursday (August 30), MTV announced that the upcoming sixth season of “Jersey Shore” will be its last, bringing the party to a close after three years, two continents and one lil’ bambino (not to mention countless punch-ups, blow-outs and catch phrases.)”
But, but, but where will I satisfy my desire to see Snooki stuffing herself into a tube top? Where else can I see documented footage of the cause of the world’s dwindling supply of Valtrex and penicillin? Will it be possible to get sufficient guido hot mess fix from ‘Snooki & JWoww’ and ‘The Pauly D Project’?
The network is planning a “retrospective special” that will air before the 2012 Video Music Awards. “Gym, Tan, Look Back,” will review the six season of smushing and drama. As for the cast who didn’t get a spinoff…I am sure they were financially responsible and didn’t spend all their cash on booze, spray tan and anything sparkly. (No I am not.)
That picture sums up why I fear hot-tubs. The STD soup going on there is terrifying.
