Comment Rules

As we delve into the world of celebrity gossip and share our thoughts and views, lets remember to that everyone has their right to their own opinion. I encourage different views to be shared, I also encourage everyone to remember that this is for your enjoyment. This is an entertainment blog not the Wikipedia.

So to keep the decorum we have a just 2 commenting rules.

1- No Spamming – I don’t sit on my rump all day working the celebrity gossip circuit so you can sponge. If you’d like a link exchange contact the Hollywood Dame.

2- No threatening/attacking groundlessly – Just because someone thinks Angelina Jolie is gorgeous and you don’t, please don’t threaten or suggest death as a remedy for their opinion. We are the messengers of gossip and groundless attacks on our writers will not be tolerated. Again, we are the messengers and this an entertainment outlet created for fun. Some stories might give you a case of the eye-rolls but it’s all in the name of enjoyment and gossip.

Follow these two rules and I won’t be forced to delete comments. Break the rules and I will have to lay down the thunder and take it down.

Cara Harrington aka ‘The Dame’ – Editor

The Dame began her journey in celebrity gossip as an intern and quickly worked her way up the gossip food chain. Moving from an Intern to Contributor and on to Head Writer, she created Hollywood Dame to bring another voice to celebrity and fashion gossip.

When Cara isn’t gossiping she enjoys lively games of badminton and indulging in some adult beverages.

Personal Quote: “I’m not great at giving advice and dealing with emotions…can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?” And the classic… “I’m not mean, I just say what most people keep to themselves.”

Favorite Celebrities: Jake Gyllenhaal… for personal and impure reasons. Britney Spears…ho pays my bills.

Crista Webster

Crista recently joined the Dame as an intern. She has found her niche in the gossip world with her weekly write-ups and opinions on the television show, “Lost”, for which she is completely obsessed.

She is a self-proclaimed pop-culture guru and, for some strange reason, has a knack for remembering what movies various actors have starred in, their release dates, and whether or not the film contained any gratuitous nudity.

When she isn’t gossiping, she is sleeping, reading the “Twilight” series for the tenth time, or working her day job educating the youth of America.

Favorite Quote: “You know what they say-if you don’t have anything nice to say, come sit by me.” (OK, I totally stole that from Olympia Dukakis in Steel Magnolias, but it’s too awesome not to use!)

Favorite Celebrities: Robert Pattinson…whom I would like to put on a plate and sop up with a biscuit and the incomparable Bea Arthur for reasons that should be completely obvious.

Holly Stafford

Holly Stafford only recently began writing about celebrity gossip, but has been interested in it for years. When shes not writing, she’s spending time with her two boys, Nick and Ryan.

Favorite Quote: Time passes. Even when it seems impossible. Even when each tick of the second hand aches like the pulse of blood behind a bruise. It passes unevenly in strange lurches and dragging lulls, but pass it does.

Favorite Celebs: Robert Pattinson because of the obvious reasons and Jessica Simpson because she is so entertaining!
