The former front man of Heavy D and The Boyz died yesterday after he collapsed at his Beverly Hills condo.
First details of the 90’s rapper’s death were sketchy. A 911 call reported that D was unconscious in the hall of his home. However, TMZ reports that he was conscious and speaking when help arrived. Unfortunately, Heavy D was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital.

This boxing legend beat Muhammad Ali in the ‘Fight of the Century’, batting him nearly to the death in the Thrilla in Manila, he then spent the rest of his life trying to fight his way out of Ali’s shadow. Boxing legend Smokin’ Joe Frazier lost his battle to liver cancer Monday evening. It was just days ago, his business representative announced that Frazier had liver cancer and had entered hospice care.

Michael Jackson’s doctor has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. After 10 hours of deliberation, Dr. Conrad Murray was convicted of being responsible for the death of Jackson and is currently awaiting sentence without the option of bail.
Conrad will sit in jail until his November 29th custody hearing. He could be facing up to 4 years in prison or probation. Jackson’s family was happy with the verdict and even cried tears of joy.

A Pathologist gas finally confirmed Amy Winehouse’s official cause of death. Alcohol claimed the life of the ‘Rehab’ singer. Coroner Suzanne Greenaway revealed that the final verdict is “death by misadventure,” saying the singer died of accidental alcohol poisoning.

Andy Whitfield, star of the show “Spartacus: Blood and Sand,” died Sunday of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma at the age of 39. His wife, Vashti, released a statement confirming his death, saying he was “surrounded by his family, in the arms of his loving wife.”
