Angelina Jolie’s ‘Style of Jolie’ Jewelry Line – Sneak Peak!

Who knew Angelina Jolie had a thing for fine jewelry? Jolie has collaborated on a oh-so fah-bulous jewelry collection called ‘Style of Jolie‘ with former Asprey CEO Robert Procop, and it’s currently on display at Juliens Gallery and Auction House in Beverly Hills until it gets sold for charity. Many of the designs are modeled after things that the Jolie-Pitts already own, including an emerald ring that Jolie made with Procop a few years back as a gift for Brad – and we have the video for a sneak peek of the collection!

“What we’re showing here is a collection that Angelina and I have been working on for the last nine months,” Asprey says in the clip.
“Building not only a part of her style but real artistic forms using gemstones as the centerpiece,” he adds. “But our main mission is helping children in crisis by educating children around the world.”
Now you can finally finish that look off of “husband stealer” before a night on the town! Nine months in the making, Style of Jolie features cushion, emerald, and pear cuts of stones like beryl, set in classic styles, such as riviere necklaces and drop earrings. However, one of the pieces in the display is a vintage diamond choker worn by Jolie in the movie ‘The Tourist.’ Among other pieces in the collection: A green beryl tablet earrings she wore at the film’s New York premiere, a faceted black necklace she sported at the German premiere of ‘Salt,’ a 27-carat Gem Colombian emerald ring she wore while directing her first movie in Bosnia, and Jolie’s favorite piece – a necklace assembled from the finest collection of emeralds. A portion of sale proceeds of the jewels will benefit the ‘Education Partnership for Children of Conflict,’ the charity of Jolie’s choice.
However, you can’t just pop by and gawk at the jewelery before it gets snapped up, since the gallery is invitation-only. And even if you do happen to have a few hundred thousand dollars that you’ve been saving just for a moment like this one, well… chances are you’re still out of luck, because the auction is invite-only too. So enjoy this video of Angelina’s creations, because it’s probably the most you’ll ever see of them.

Select celebrity stylists are going to wake up with mutilated Hermes scarves and mannequin heads in their beds. Some of stylists to the stars have spilled some secrets when it comes to their celebrity clients insecurities and dirty style secrets. Star mag reports that Joe is the most self-conscious Jonas Brother, Aguilera is very aware of her fuller figure, Sienna Miller refuses to wear panties, Nicki Minaj will fire anyone who doesn’t please her and Ciara won’t hear of something being ill fitting….
Joe Jonas – “The hunky Disney star makes girls swoon, but he’s horribly insecure about his big thighs! “Joe works out like a fiend but he can’t seem to lean out his thighs. His brothers tease him for having thunder thighs, but it isn’t a joke for Joe. He’s worried about developing stretch marks and dimpling on his thighs, so he uses anti-cellulite cream.” (My little no-heart feels for him.)
Christina Aguilera – “Christina hates being short, it really bothers her. She tries hard to look as tall as she can. That’s why she often wears one solid color — she thinks it makes her look leaner.
Sienna Miller – “Sienna loves her push up bras because she wants her breasts to look perky. But underwear? Never. I don’t think she even owns a pair.”
Nicki Minaj – “If a stylist can’t get Nicki the exact look she’s requesting, she will fire you on the spot. One time, she fired a stylist when she told Nicki that she was unable to get the material she wanted from one of the top couture collections. It turned out that the couture designer simply didn’t want to work with Nicki!”
Ciara – “Ciara can be difficult and sometimes gets snickers in the styling community because she always has a set idea on how she should look and rarely takes her stylist’s tips. As a result, you have a gorgeous woman who has the potential to look better than she does because she’ll wear something that pros see as ill-fitting.”
Uma Thurman, Mel Gibson and Kendra Wilkinson are the worst smelling celebs according to several stylists spilling to the mag. Uma’s cigarette habit and Mel’s breathe and B.O. are enough to make you wish you temporarily lose the power of smell. Kendra will burp and fart in front of you without hesitation.
Jennifer Aniston “looks fantastic naked,” but one of her wardrobe handlers also mentioned that she gets bad finger fungus outbreaks that eat away at her nails. (Really? If that is her biggest problem I’d still trade her bodies in a heart beat.)
Lady Gaga skipped out on a bill. She had a custom made outfit put together and only paid for the material. Gaga reportedly left the designer with no compensation for their hours of work.

Ke$ha was photographed strolling along the Australian Beach in the most unflattering bikini. The pics of her are a far cry from her Maxim spread in the April 2011 issue. (Click HERE for those pics…) I am not sure if the bottoms are just too big or if her body has been replaced with that of my great Aunt Yetta’s. Either way, I suddenly don’t mind my ample behind.

Oscars 2011 Fashion: Best and Worst Dressed – PHOTOS

The Academy Awards is the highlight of awards season. A celeb’s garb at the Oscars can make or break their fashion icon status in just one night. Sure, winning that naked gold little man is what the night’s supposed to be about, but even if you loose at least you look damn good. Here are the Fashion Winners for the night… (You can click HERE for the 2011 Oscars Winners List…)
Mila Kunis – She wore an airy lavender lace gown that hugged her body in all the right places. Elie Saa created this dress that was easily one of my favorites and will no doubt be on several best dressed lists.
Jennifer Hudson looked amazing in her Versace. Camera and tv hues affected just about every red color palate that walked the carpet. I believe Hudson’s gown was a tangerine masterpiece. I typically avoid any color in the orange family, but this was by far one of the best dresses on the red carpet. She will be fighting Kunis for the place as Best Dressed. It’s a tough call.
Gwyneth Paltrow – As much as the mere mention of GOOP sends my eyes rolling followed by exasperated sighs, Paltrow’s look was refreshing in the sea of Bumpit filled updos and gowns with trains. Her metallic Calvin Klein was modern. (The fact that her mother is Blythe Danner helped.)
Amy Adams will be present on most best dressed lists with her gorgeous L’Wren Scott dress. The navy blue against her hair made her pop on the carpet and drew your eyes.
Honorable Mentions…
Michelle Williams‘ pearly Chanel dress worked wonders with her platinum super short locks without washing her out.
Natalie Portman wore a purple/wine colored gown that downplayed her growing baby bump but still looked chic. The Rodarte creation will probably find it’s way to several best dressed lists.
Halle Berry chose a champagne toned Marchesa dress that will also make it’s way to many best dressed lists.
Sandra Bullock embraced the red dress trend that was a popular choice this year. Her Vera Wang gown was beautiful, but didn’t outshine her competition.
Penelope Cruz‘s dress put me on the fence. I love that she is proud of her post baby figure and went with such a bold choice, but this flaming red gown looks more like an ice dancer’s costume. Regardless, she still looked fantastic.
Reese Witherspoon was channeling Julia Roberts simple black Valentino number from a few years back, but her dress in comparison to the aforementioned eye-catching garbs looked boring.
On the Fence…
I had to add a place for Cate Blanchett. I adore her and her fearless sense of style, but this Givenchy gown has qualities I love and hate. The front has too much of a messy bib quality, but the back has playful and skin revealing structure. The pale pink/purple hue is a gorgeous color on her, but the fake sleeves are such a head smacker. You will find her on both best and worst dressed lists today as many others will be split between worshiping it’s risky integrity and hating on it due to the odd nature. Yet, there is still something about it I love.
Oh Honey, No…
Nicole Kidman is a statuesque beauty that towers over everyone on the carpet. So why she gave herself a kimono battleship hip look is beyond me. It covered her lovely figure and looked unpolished. Dior is typically one of my favorites and never as safe as say…Calvin Klein…but this had to send Tim Gunn’s tender fashion sense into fits.
Scarlett Johansson wore a carpet clashing red/magenta hue. First mistake. Pair that with the lace and the ill fit around her chest and we have a rejected Victoria Secret design.
Melissa Leo‘s Marc Bouwer gown will also be a repeat on the worst dressed. It was an Elvis meets Star Wars. Never a good fashion marriage.

Lady Gaga Grammy Egg/Womb – PHOTOS

Everyone has been wondering what Lady Gaga will wear at the 2011 Grammy Awards. After wearing a meat dress to the 2010 MTV VMA’s (click HERE for photos of the infamous meat dress…), her look for the Grammy Awards has been more anticipated than the awards themselves.
Gaga didn’t disappoint and arrived to the Grammy Awards in an egg. A crew of buff men wearing yellow skin tight underwear and boots carried the Gaga over the carpet as she pressed her hands against the inside of the egg/womb.
UPDATE – The egg/womb made it’s way to the stage and she started her performance of ‘Born This Way’ coming out of it. CLICK HERE for Lady Gaga’s 2011 Grammy Award performance of ‘Born This Way’…
Lets see how her performance goes. She was reportedly planning a “blow out performance” for the show.

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore Booed – Video

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were more than 3 hours late for a Brazillian fashion show where Ashton was modeling on the runway but he might have taken the term “fashionably late” a little too far, upsetting paparazzi and photographers who then booed them for their rudeness!
Per Yahoo:
Kutcher appeared on the catwalk with designer Jeziel Moraes, although his appearance was not met positively by all.
Fashion consultant Christiane Guerra said: “I thought there was too much fuss over Ashton Kutcher, who only came here to appear once.
Was there any reason for them to be late? Was there any reason for them to be there AT ALL? Ashton and Demi, despite the boos, still took the time to stop and pose on the carpet for pictures. Interestingly enough, booing in Portuguese sounds just like it does in English.

Kim Kardashian Nude, Silver Paint W Magazine – PICS

Kim Kardashian has her own sex tape, posed in Playboy and famewhores at every given opportunity. So naturally Kim did a magazine spread wearing only silver paint and subsequently cried after seeing the results.
Kardashian was nude in most of the spread done for W Magazine. She was under the impression the spread would be more “art” than nude celeb and got a case of ‘you tricked me into taking my clothes off!’ On the latest episode of ‘Kourtney & Kim Take New York’ she whined over the nearly naked spread.
“Oh my God, I’m more naked than I was in Playboy. I’m so mad right now. She promised I would be covered with artwork. You can see nipple. The whole concept was sold to me that nothing would be seen.”
Before you pro-Kim mongers get out your shanks and hunt down those editors that pinky promised Kim a nipple free shoot, she is now “glad” she did them.
