George Clooney Arrested – VIDEO

The Clooney has been nabbed for protesting in Washington. The ‘Ides of March’ star and savior to distressed nightclub hostesses was taken into custody outside of the Sudanese embassy in DC.

George Clooney and his father, Nick Clooney, were arrested after leading a protest. Secret service agents took the cooperative star and several congressmen in for crossing a police line. It’s a misdemeanor offense, but George is actually happy about the arrest. He, according to sources, hopes that the incident will bring attention to the issues he was speaking about at the protest.

George Clooney: “I F**ked Too Many Chics, Did Too Many Drugs”

Well, I like a man who’s honest. George Clooney talks about his work in Sudan for his Newsweek cover story, and also reveals why politics is not in his future. Clooney has been discussed as a possible Democratic candidate from time to time after making a name for himself as an activist with his foundation ‘Not On Our Watch.’ However, he rebuffed the idea… big-time.

“I didn’t live my life in the right way for politics, you know,” he said, sitting outside the Central Pub in Juba, scarfing down pizza. “I f–ked too many chicks and did too many drugs, and that’s the truth.” A smart campaigner, he believes, “would start from the beginning by saying, ‘I did it all. I drank the bong water. Now let’s talk about issues.’ That’s gonna be my campaign slogan: ‘I drank the bong water.’?”

While Clooney says he has no intentions of ever running for office, I think that slogan is pretty catchy. But his honesty would be his downfall. Honesty and politics do not go hand in hand. I’d vote for him. We can use some honesty in politics.

George Clooney Malaria Recovery

George Clooney was battling Malaria after a trip to Sudan. This is his second time he has had the disease that is synonymous with a death sentence to the people of the region. The threat of the infectious illness carried by mosquitoes didn’t stop Clooney from returning for the sake of the country. His trip to Sudan has been focused on pushing aggressive diplomacy with a goal of avoiding further genocide.

Don’t weep over your Dr. Doug Ross photos and light a candle. He is doing well and already back to being sophisticatedly sexy. His rep told People he all good under the hood.

“George is completely over the Malaria he contracted while in the Sudan during the first week in January. This was his second bout with it. This illustrates how with proper medication, the most lethal condition in Africa, can be reduced to a bad ten days instead of a death sentence.”

Now I feel like an ass. I thought he was in search of new breed of non-fame hookin’ African nightclub hostesses. I kid, I kid! (Kinda)

George Clooney Involved in Cocaine Scandal?!?

It seems George Clooney’s desire to live low-key is not shared by his currently lady friend, Elisabetta Canalis.

Canalis has been implicated in a HUGE Italian cocaine bust that has, so far, led to the arrest of five people.

According to Radar, prestigious Italian newspaper, Corriere della Sera, launched an investigation into a Milan nightclub approximately two years ago, known for it’s plethora of hookers and blow. The club was frequented by Italian celebs including, according to reports, that of Clooney’s girlfriend.

“They [the girls] were brought into the clubs by the various characters acting as PR for the evenings to entertain customers at the tables of the private club,” prosecutor Frank Di Maio stated in the investigative documents. Their job was to encourage these customers to drink alcohol as to increase the table’s bill, followed up by sex off premises.”

Many reports are stating that the club offered free cocaine to VIP’s in order to bring celebrities to the club. One witness so far has testified to doing cocaine with Elisabetta.

John Krasinski Marries Emily Blunt In Italy

July 10th sure had its fair share of celebrity marriages! Emily Blunt and ‘The Office‘ star John Krasinski we married Saturday in a private outdoor ceremony at the Villa d’Este in Como in Italy. They had been staying at George Clooney’s nearby Lake Como estate since the Fourth of July weekend. Clooney and his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis attended the outdoor ceremony.

“It was an outdoor ceremony and absolutely beautiful,” says an insider. “It was an official ceremony. They are husband and wife. Emily did not want a big wedding so everything was simple and quiet, but it was beautiful,” adds the source.

Blunt wore a Marchesa Bridal custom cream chiffon sweetheart draped gown with embroidered detail. While photos of blushing bride have yet to be released, we have no doubt she looked stunning. She began dating Krasinski in November 2008 after the pair were reportedly set up by her ‘The Devil Wear’s Prada‘ co-star Anne Hathaway and they announced their engagement in August 2009. Krasinski reportedly popped the question with a 3-carat Edwardian diamond and platinum ring from Neil Lane worth upwards of $100,000.

Krasinski told Access Hollywood that the proposal was “very casual” but very emotional, too. “She did cry after I cried, and we cried and then everyone around us was crying,” he said.

“She’s a wonderful girl,” Krasinski gushed at last year’s Emmys of his fiancee. “So many people say, ‘You know when you know,’ and it’s true,” Krasinski added of his love. “It’s all true.”

The wedding came a week after Krasinski’s on-screen wife Jenna Fischer, who plays Pam on “The Office,” married writer Lee Kirk. Congratulations to all!

George Clooney Drunk at the Oscars – Video

Was it just me, or did George Clooney seem a little off at last night’s Oscar ceremony?

The usually accommodating Clooney breezed by many reporters on the red carpet and, though funny, seemed to glare throughout the telecast.

However, his off attitude with reporters was not the case with the ladies. After swooping in and kissing several women (including snatching a kiss on Queen Latifiah’s arm), Clooney revealed his secret.

“To show you why I mean it,” Clooney offered the perfectly delighted gal he’d just kiss-kissed, the Oscar-winning dude opened his tux jacket.

And there, gleaming and looking awfully deliciously discreet, was a silver flask.

Although funny, this really isn’t the first time someone had to hit the sauce to lip-lock with some of Hollywood’s biggest players. Seriously, can you imagine having to plant one on Harvey Weinstein?
