I get a big case of MEH when I hear Hilary Duff’s name, but the new mom is being picked on for holding a cigarette.
Over the weekend, Duff was photographed hanging with some friends. While photographers snapped away, she held her friend’s cancer stick and that translated to ESCANDALO of the new mommy kind for bloggers.
Hilary felt she needed to waft away the skeptics and judgment by Tweeting an explanation…
It looks like Hilary Duff has reclaimed her spot as the reigning pregnant Disney star of the moment.
Disney star Brenda Song became a household name after a rumor started that she was pregnant. Then it came out that the child she was carrying belonged to Miley Cyrus’ brother, Trace Cyrus. But since the reports came to light three weeks ago, Song has yet to grow enough of a protruding baby bump to convince onlookers of her pregnancy.
Just last week Hilary Duff was on top of the world sharing the happy news that she and her husband, Mike Comrie, are expecting a baby. Now, just a few days later comes word that she was canned from her role as Bonnie in the upcoming movie ‘The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.’ Coincidence?
In a weekend of celebs trying to out-do each other with baby news, Hilary Duff announced that she was pregnant!
Aaron Carter is claiming that Michael Jackson gave him cocaine and alcohol when he was only 15! Carter, who spent time in a rehabilitation center for substance abuse earlier this year, has struggled for years with addiction.
Babies are currently falling out of every noonie in Hollywood and now we can add Hilary Duff to that list!
That’s right kittens, Hilary Duff is reportedly pregnant with her first child according to Star Magazine.
“They weren’t actively trying to conceive but agreed that if it happened, it happened. They’re ecstatic.”
Duff wed husband, Pittsburg Penguins hockey star Mike Comrie, back in August. She has often been candid about wanting a family because Comrie’s family is quite large.
UPDATE: Hilary Duff’s rep has bashed pregnancy rumors and stated she isn’t not expecting. Hilary also hopped on Twitter to confirm that she in NOT pregnant.

“Lizzie MacGuire” star Hilary Duff, 22, wed her long-time hockey player beau Mike Comrie, 29, this weekend.
The two were wed in front of 100 of their closest friends and family in a sunset ceremony in Santa Barbara, California.
OK Magazine is reporting that Duff wore a mermaid-style dress by Vera Wang and was escorted down the aisle by her mother, Susan, who was dressed in Badgley Mischka.
The actress’s sister, Hayley, was maid of honor. An additional four bridesmaids completed the wedding party.
Congrats!

Hilary Duff, who’s been dating NHL star Mike Comrie since 2007, maybe close to hearing the sounds of wedding bells! Hilary has been sporting a ring on her left ring finger and sent engagement rumors flying.
Her mother/manager laughed off rumors to Hollywood Life stating: “I don’t think that’s right.”
Either photographers caught what appears to be a proposal or camp Duff is biding their time for a magazine cover with Hilary sporting her rock and a case of the giggles. Frame by frame shots were taken of Duff and boyfriend Comrie proposing while on vacationing in Hawaii.

The latest in the Hilary Duff and Faye Dunaway squabble, Duff acts like the child she is and really digs into Dunaway, insinuating she basically has no fans and is unattractive! This is the best celebrity squabble I have seen in a long time.
On “E’s Daily 10″ Duff says:
“I think that my fans that are gonna go see the movie don’t even know who she is…. I think it was a little unnecessary, but I might be mad if I looked like that now, too.”
Snap!!! Could you be a little bit more catty? No, can you please be a little bit more catty? As I giggle to myself, I think about how Duff has no leg to stand on in the squabble. I mean, the last thing she was in was “War Inc” and “Material Girls“, which both flopped at the theatres. Not that a movie about going from riches to rags, which also stars your not-so-important sister isn’t amazing. I can’t believe I missed seeing it in the theatres.
I think Dunaway was out of line, asking if the producers of the new Bonnie and Clyde movie couldn’t find a real actress. Which started this highly amusing battle of the insults. But seriously. Dunaway was nominated for an Oscar when she played Bonnie and Duff couldn’t get an Oscar nod if she tried. She’s cute and all, but when your best movies are “Cheaper by the Dozen” and “A Cinderella Story“, you aren’t Oscar material.
I hope Dunaway comes back with something fierce to say in response. Or, can we have the ladies meet and literally fight it out? Possibly in a mud pit, for poops and giggles? Who do you think would win? I mean sure, Duff has the youth and energy but Dunaway is fiery. I am going with Dunaway on this one.

Hilary Duff is trying to replace the Hollywood veteran in the remake of the 1967 classic “Bonnie and Clyde”. Oscar winners Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty starred in the original film and were pissed upon the news of the remake. (See original “Bonnie and Clyde” below.)
Tonya S. Holly is redoing the film in her own ways and titling it “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde” which is set to hit theaters in 2010. The original was nominated for 10 Oscars….sadly this looming straight to video masterpiece probably won’t have the same success. When the former stars heard the news that Hilary Duff was starring in the film as Bonnie and both Faye and Warren asked the same question. “Why?”
