I finally have a little more respect for Katy. After divorcing Russell Brand, dipping her head in blue rinse and (hopefully) cleansing herself with an extra strength antibiotic, the ‘Part of Me’ singer wasn’t shy about seeking solace the arms of the guitarist for Florence + the Machine. She and Robert Ackroyd enjoyed the musical musings at Coachella together while engaging in massive amounts of PDA.
Um, sure. Katy Perry is sending us a message that a broken heart can be mended at boot camp. Or she is G.I. Jane now. Or that taping your boobs down before you even enlist to be head tank driver for the military makes sense.
I don’t get Perry’s new video and it kinda makes me question the screening process. I really hope that if some love scorned woman signed up and answered “Why do you want to be a Marine?” with “My ex boyfriend was diddling Debbie from accounting and now I want to blow shiz up!” they would stamp NOT FIT TO OPERATE GUNS/BE RESPONSIBLE FOR OTHER PEOPLE’S LIVES on her forehead and send her to Walmart for ice cream, booze and a copy of ‘The Way We Were.’

Unless Tim Tebow would lie to a room full of kids all eager to know whether or not he hit that, we can believe that Katy Perry hasn’t snatched Tim’s V-Card.

There’s rumor going around that Katy Perry could be rebounding out of her current situation – aka her divorce – with none other than Tim Tebow! HollywoodLife reports (so, huge grain of salt here) that Perry’s parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Hudson, have their eye on the Denver Broncos quarterback for their newly single daughter.
