Russell Brand has officially been UNINVITED from the People’s Choice Awards – all because of Katy Perry! It looks like the folks who run the awards show are afraid Brand is a bit too much like his character Aldous Snow in ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall‘ and ‘Get Him To the Greek.’ What… do they think he’s gonna do a Jeffrey and flip out?
Katy Perry and Russell Brand are getting a divorce. Following rumors that their marriage was on the downslide, Brand has submitted legal papers to bring an end to their marriage.
We saw pictures of Katy Perry hanging out in Hawaii over the Christmas holiday weekend, but we didn’t know that hubby Russell Brand wasn’t with her! Originally, Perry had planned on taking her family to Brand‘s hometown of London for the holidays, but she changed her mind and decided to fly to Hawaii – sans wedding ring – with friends instead!

Katy Perry And Lady Gaga both had cameos in the recently released Muppets film, and both appearances were edited out of the final cut. Mother Monster’s scene was supposed to feature her in a dance-off with Miss Piggy, but producer Clint Morris said time constraints forced the cut.
Not trying to add fuel to the rumor fire, but it seems as if Katy Perry has a little bit of a baby bump going on after pictures of her from the MTV European Music Awards surfaced! Could this be a sign that she is putting on a little bit of weight? Or is she preggers!? Check out the pictures and judge for yourself.
Yesterday the nominees for this year’s American Music Awardswere announced. The big show is coming up November 20th on ABC. So who was on top with the most nods?
Last night the 2011 MTV VMAs took place. I am not sure why they still have this circus being that there hasn’t been music on MTV since I wore baby doll dresses with thigh-high stockings (in public).
MTV announced the nominations for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards last night – I’m excited for the VMA’s coming up in August, but this also means summer is slowly coming to an end! We’re not surprised that Katy Perry and Adele were most nominated… But the VMA’s also reached out to a variety of stars, such as Thirty Seconds to Mars for their video “Hurricane” and the Beastie Boys‘ “Make Some Noise.” But, ummm… what about Rihanna? This is awkward, considering she dominated the pop music video scene with “Only Girl in the World,” “What’s My Name,” and “S & M.” No nominations for The Black Eyed Peas either!
We’re hoping this is a rumor! They’re not even at the one-year wedding anniversary and according to sources things are getting ‘pretty bad’. Heat Magazine now claims Russell Brand and Katy Perry are trying a separation! This would be almost as dream-shattering as the Britney Spears/Justin Timberlake split (I’m still recovering!)
Remember how Katy Perry‘s mom was shopping around a book about how she thinks her daughter is Satan’s whore and that she’s going to hell, all while riding her to fame and fortune? Yeah, that hasn’t changed at all.
When she was growing up, Katy was allowed to only listen to gospel music. The only book her parents read to her was the Bible. She even wasn’t allowed to watch TV. So it didn’t take long for Katy to let loose when she signed a record deal. You can imagine her parent’s disapproval when they heard their daughter on the radio singing, “I Kissed a Girl, and I Liked It.”
