Michael Jackson’s doctor has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. After 10 hours of deliberation, Dr. Conrad Murray was convicted of being responsible for the death of Jackson and is currently awaiting sentence without the option of bail.
Conrad will sit in jail until his November 29th custody hearing. He could be facing up to 4 years in prison or probation. Jackson’s family was happy with the verdict and even cried tears of joy.
There are rumors of an impending breakup after the Black Eyed Peas pulled out of last weekend’s Michael Jackson tribute concert in England due to “unavoidable circumstances.” U.K.’s Mirror newspaper cites an unnamed source who says “Pulling out of this weekend’s gig is the final curtain call for them – especially as they’re all such huge Jacko fans. Things have been taking a turn for the worse over the past few months but this signals the end.” NME reports the Black Eyed Peas are preparing to announce they will be permanently splitting up – They had already announced an “indefinite hiatus” July, although will.i.am “insisted it was just a break” on Twitter.
Aaron Carter is claiming that Michael Jackson gave him cocaine and alcohol when he was only 15! Carter, who spent time in a rehabilitation center for substance abuse earlier this year, has struggled for years with addiction.
You may have seen the reports circulating around recently which claimed Diana Ross would gain custody and become guardian to Michael Jackson’s three children once his mother, Katherine passes on. Crazy, right? Well, it turns out they’re true.
Miley Cyrus is reportedly pretty peeved at her dear ol’ dad after his recent interview with ‘GQ’ magazine in which Billy Ray opens up about how he’s “scared” for his daughter’s well-being, his feelings on how ‘Hannah Montana‘ tore apart his family, and even went as far as to compare her to Anna Nicole Smith and Michael Jackson!

“To say Miley is angry is an understatement,” a friend of the Disney star tells me. “She’s furious that her own flesh and blood would make a private matter so public. Who does he think he is, Michael Lohan?”
Reports are circling that Miley and her father have not spoken since December, and has labeled her dad’s comments as “unforgivable.”
“This isn’t what a father does,” my source says. “He never said a bad world about ‘Hannah Montana’ all those years it made millions for the family, and now that Miley has turned 18 and is making her own decisions, he does this. Unforgivable.
Miley allegedly has no plans to get in touch with her father and feels that if he wants to talk to her, he can take the first step and reach out.
I sort of have to agree. To ‘out’ your entire family just to receive some sort of attention is kinda sad. But then again maybe Miley should remember that without her Dad’s fame she would more than likely never have been in a position to be considered for Hanna Montana. It was his millions that got Miley her start!

Things in the Cyrus household are a mess. Miley Cyrus‘ parents Billy Ray and Tish are in the process of getting a divorce. Even though Miley’s 18 years old, she’s still taking their split pretty hard. When Billy and Tish announced they were splitting up there were rumors of infidelity. Also there was speculation of a huge fight where Billy became violent over Tish allowing Miley to do whatever she wanted. Maybe now we can understand more of why Miley’s been acting out the past few months – Apparently her father hasn’t spoken to her since November. Now Billy is speaking out and blaming Hannah Montana for all of the family drama. Billy revealed in an interview that he believes “Hannah Montana” ruined his relationship with his daughter, and that the show has ruined his family.
In this month’s issue of GQ, Billy Ray Cyrus lashes out at the show that made his daughter Miley famous and shockingly compares her to Michael Jackson, Kurt Cobain and yes, Anna Nicole Smith.
“You could see that train wreck coming.”
Wow – I’m not sure I would put Smith and Miley in the same category, but maybe he knows more about what goes on behind the scenes. In the interview Billy Ray talks about Miley’s many slip-ups (salvia bong smoking, underage drinking, dirty lap dancing, etc…) and how he feels completely helpless to prevent them. He says that the problem is that he tried to be Miley’s friend not her parent and now when he wants to be her parent, she won’t listen. He believes that Miley’s handlers made it impossible to parent Miley and that they allowed her to do anything she wanted. He claims they also were the ones behind her racy 2009 Teen Choice Awards performance.
“I’m scared for her. She’s got a lot of people around her that’s putting her in a great deal of danger,” he said. “I know she’s 18, but I still feel like as her daddy I’d like to try to help. Take care of her just a little bit, to at least get her out of danger. I want to get her sheltered from the storm. Stop the insanity just for a minute. When you go through what she’s been through, it takes a beating on you.”
Billy also claims “there’s no doubt” his family is under attack by Satan. When asked about “Hannah Montana,” Billy said “I’ll tell you right now, the damn show destroyed my family,” wishing the show had never happened.
“I’d take it back in a second. For my family to be here and just be everybody okay, safe and sound and happy and normal.”
The way to begin that is to shut his mouth and be Miley’s father. Not speaking to her and airing the families dirty laundry is not going to help, but only make the situation much worse. Sounds more serious than any of us imagined!

Michael Jackson may have passed away in June of 2009, but he has a new CD that will be in stores on Tuesday. Thank God someone decided to record lots of material with him before his passing! The first single, ‘Hold My Hand‘ featuring Akon, is pretty good. And now there’s a video for the new song. How did the directors pay tribute to Michael?

MichaelJackson.com is cranking out an album entitled “Michael” composed of songs Michael Jackson had been working on. The first song, “Breaking News,” leaked to the net, but family members insist that the vocals on the track are not actually Jackson. (Click HERE for details on that…)
[Michael Jackson and Akon ‘Hold My Hand’ – VIDEO]
Another song has hit the net. “Hold My Hand” will be the lead single for the posthumous album. The single features Akon and had previously leaked in 2008. Work on the song was then interrupted. Akon has since finished the song and is happy with the final product.
“The world was not ready to hear ‘Hold My Hand’ when it leaked a couple years ago,” Akon said in a statement. “We were devastated about it. But its time has definitely come. Now in its final state, it has become an incredible, beautiful, anthemic song. I’m so proud to have had the chance to work with Michael, one of my all-time idols.”
The album will also featuring collaborations with Lenny Kravitz and 50 Cent. Look for it to drop on December 14th.
No kittens, this isn’t a joke. Apparently, the King of Pop, the late Michael Jackson is set to release a new album.
Epic Records in conjunction with the Estate of Michael Jackson will release a new album, titled: “Michael” December 14. On November 8, michaeljackson.com will release ‘Breaking News’ the first full track from the album.

Lady Gaga and President Obama don’t often travel in the same circles, but they’re the top competitors in a heated popularity contest to be the first living person to reach 10 million fans on Facebook. Early Friday, Obama had the lead by about 30k, but Facebook’s “monster” constituency picked up the pace in support of “Mother Monster,” as Gaga quickly surged past Obama. As of Friday afternoon, the pop star has reached 9,162,832 with the Commander-in-Chief trailing at 9,122,063.
Per CNN:
Obama’s page, which is run by the group Organizing for America, includes photographs of his recent Gulf Coast visit and links to speeches from news conferences. His page lists the president’s interests as “basketball, writing, spending time w/ kids” and says his favorite books include The Bible, Toni Morrison’s “Song of Solomon” and Shakespeare’s tragedies.
Lady Gaga’s page lists upcoming concerts and includes a biographical article describing how the 24-year-old pop star, who played piano by ear as a toddler, grew into a theatrical performer who wows the masses with flashy performances in international concert tours. “I’m just trying to change the world one sequin at a time,” she says in the posted story.
Who will win the race to 10 million? Only time will tell, though the King of Facebook is likely to remain Michael Jackson, who holds the #1 spot with nearly 13.5 million fans on the social network which boasts over 400 million users.
