Robert Pattinson to Star in ‘The Hunger Games’ Sequel ‘Catching Fire’?!

As with all projects, if you attach Sparklepants’ name to it, it will instantly see an upsurge in interest. So is it a surprise that Robert Pattinson is rumored to be in the running for a part in ‘The Huger Games’ sequel? Well, its about as surprising as Britney Spears giving herself a break on the first day of ‘X-Factor’ filming. (See what I did there? Total shameless segway to another topic featured here.)

‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1’ Movie Mistakes

Yesterday we explored the filming goofs made in ‘The Hunger Games.’ Click HERE in case you missed it… Today we will be tackling the movie mistakes from ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.’

These films had a lot of trouble with the crew and equipment being visible in shots. Continuity was also a big issue for this particular installment. To be fair every movie has its qualms and oopsies. We will just nitpick a handful today.

‘The Dark Knight Rises’ – POSTER

Warner Brothers unleashed another poster for ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’ While Christopher Nolan’s third and final chapter to his interpretation of the Batman saga has been highly anticipated, some fans have been left feeling largely underwhelmed.

Here we have what appears to be the original teaser poster with Batman photoshopped in. Really? That is it? They didn’t even bother doing a good job plopping him in the scene. The film had a great momentum going into the marketing push despite the fact that the title appeared to be recycled. The first photo of Bane showed just enough to tease your movie palate while hiding the goods with shadows. After that, things appeared to be fizzling. It certainly fails in comparison the marketing ‘The Dark Knight’ had that engaged audience interaction and had fans scrambling over their respective city for clues left by The Joker.

‘Anchorman 2’ Trailer – VIDEO

Hollywood is completely out of fresh ideas and it will probably only be a matter of time before they will somehow turn ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ into a made for tv movie on Lifetime. So, it’s only natural that we start getting sequels, prequels and spinoffs of what already worked once.

Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner and Steve Carell are all returning in ‘Anchorman 2.’ The teaser trailer has hit the net and for some reason, as much as I adore these guys, I just don’t get the tingly excited feeling that makes me sneak a bottle of Colt 45 into the theater after dipping into my funds to pay the electric bill to buy a ticket.

‘The Avengers’ Box Office and Reviews

The Avengers’ box office results are in and the movie has dethroned ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2’ with the biggest opening weekend at the box office. The domestic earnings easily slid past the boy with the lightning shaped scar.

The superhero fueled film racked in just over $200 million. The final Potter film is now sitting at second with $169 million. This is leading to speculation that ‘The Avengers’ will easily surpass a $1 billion gross.
