Andy Cohen Ripped in ‘SNL’ Skit – VIDEO

Sofia Vergara hosted ‘Saturday Night Live’ this weekend and just about every skit took swipes at an array of celebrities. Fran Drescher, Zooey Deschanel, Michael Cera, Drew Barrymore and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. An Andy Cohen got the most of the mockery. The ‘Watch What Happens Live’ host was skewered, but the general reaction by SNL fans centers around Taran Killam’s impression. Most are using the verb “suck” to summarize the portrayal.

Mary J. Blige’s Burger King Commercial – VIDEO

Everyone is losing their Schlitz over Mary J. Blige in a Burger King commercial. People are clutching their pearls and gasping, “A black woman singing about chicken is ESCANDALO!”

It made it waves on tv and was yanked from Youtube and every crevice of the internet. Burger King issued a statement that they pulled the ad due to a “licensing issue.” The fast food chain is attempting to give itself a makeover with new décor and new menu items that won’t turn your business end into a Slip n’ Slide for greasy fried pink slime. Jay Leno, Salma Hayek, David Beckham all joined Blige in the burger pimpery, but Mary was the only one who seemed to make waves singing about chicken.

Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and Jason Sudeikis Leaving SNL ?!

Pretty much the only people that matter on SNL are rumored to be leaving the show. According to Us Weekly, Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and Jason Sudeikis are all quitting Saturday Night Live at the end of this season.

Two source-types say that the trio are ready to move on and free up time for their blossoming movie careers. I can’t say I blame them, but for every Will Ferrell success story there is a Chris Kattan.

The Situation is in Rehab

Or as the worst rep in the world says, “He has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule.” You know, because getting paid to sleep until noon after drinking a Big Gulp of tequila and banging every skank who is dumb/drunk enough to spread while thinking about Vinny is exhausting.

I am sure this “undisclosed location” (rehab) for “rest and recuperation” (rehab) has nothing to do with using his nostrils as a coke vacuum. According to what we are supposed to believe is a statement concocted by The Situation himself, he has a pain pill addiction…

Jonas Brothers Reality Show

Because there isn’t enough rich people doing mundane things on tv, a Jonas Brother reality show is in the works.

The three Jonai are reportedly set to have their own reality show on E! So, instead of watching Kong Kardashian try to squeeze into jeggings, we get to watch Hot One talk Eyebrows out of bangs. (Sadly,this already sounds more appealing.)

Bear Grylls FIRED by Discovery ?!

Discovery Channel has just kicked me in the lady balls. (The metaphorical ones.) The network has fired Bear Gyrlls due to a contractual dispute.

There will be no more ‘Man Vs. Wild’ and, thusly, no more naked pushups. Rumors state that Bear refused to do two “unannounced projects” that he had in his contract and the network canned him. Any and all work on productions associated with Grylls have already been halted. Season 6 of Man Vs. Wild wrapped in August, but it is unclear whether or not it will make it to air.

Britney Spears to Save ‘X Factor’

A deal is almost inked out to engage Britney Spears’ inner She-Ra so she can use her Princess of Power skills to save ‘X Factor.’

The show didn’t exactly deliver last season. By the end of its American debut, ratings were in the 3.4 range and had about half the viewers that Simon Cowell promised. The former ‘American Idol’ honcho once considered anything less than a 20 million strong audience a “disappointment.” The average numbers were in the 11 million range. (These numbers aren’t anything to send back to the kitchen and most networks would kick puppies for this kind of viewership, but they still failed to impress Fox.)
