Lindsay Lohan Facing 5150 Hold ???

Things are getting really bad for Lindsay Lohan yet again! According to reports, Lohan needs to get help very soon or things are going to be bad, with friends worrying that she could become another Hollywood tragedy. Now TMZ says in an exclusive report that in addition to friends and family,authorities are piping up and saying they’ve looked in the situation and feel the same way.

We’re told during one of Lindsay’s crazier nights out recently, cops became so concerned they discussed taking her in for a 5150 evaluation.

They also say that “some police officers who routinely come in contact with Lindsay tell TMZ they have thought seriously about forcing her to get help,” after her recent substance-fueled late nights on the town, which would mean a so-called 5150 evaluation. In other words: If a person can’t take care of him or her self, officials will step in and get that person mental health assistance. Police sources who spoke to TMZ cite Lindsay’s “erratic behavior” and “attitude” as cause for serious concern. They later decided against it after speaking to her representatives because they felt she didn’t meet all the criteria and was capable of taking care of herself, at least for now. TMZ cited a “professional” source as saying that Lindsay is in serious danger of kicking it if she doesn’t clean up her act.

“If she doesn’t get help soon, she’s going to die.”

Friends and family say Lindsay, who has in the past been treated for alcohol addiction, has fallen prey to the vicious cycle of substance abuse. Previously Lohan has been admitted to rehab in an attempt to get her movie career back on track, however it looks as if perhaps another visit may be the best thing for her before she joins the R.I.P Hollywood Elite. It’s hard to believe that the “recovering addict” is really recovering from her addiction when all she’s been seen working hard at is heading out to clubs every night. If that’s the picture of health, then it’s scary to think what unhealthy looks like.

I’m all out of jokes. I hope she gets the help she needs and fast – with Dina and Michael Lohan having nothing to do with trying to make it happen. They’ve already proven to be much more a part of the problem than part of the solution.

Mischa Barton Involuntarily Held in Psych Ward

Mischa Barton was placed under a 5150. Sound familiar? It should to you Britney Spears loving gossip mongers. It is the same psychiatric hold Spears was under twice. Yesterday around 3 PM police responded to a 911 call at Mischa’s home. Police cited a “medical issue” had arose and they responded accordingly. They have since enforced the 5150 and taken her to Cedars-Sinai.

The Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) laws have prevented any official word of why she is being held. What is known is that they can hold her for up to 72 hours under the hold. A rep also confirmed she was no longer going to attend her film premiere for “Homecoming.”

Ah yes, “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” was a brilliant play. Odd, but I am sure it has some kind of artsy-fartsy integrity. In the case of Mishca Barton, one was ripped from the crack whore’s nest.
