Bradley Cooper, Reynolds and Justin Timberlake Duking It Out Over Green Lantern

Our movie screens will soon be graced with yet again another superhero, this time in the likes of the Green Lantern. Three frontrunners have emerged in the race to star in the Warner Bros. movie – Bradley Cooper , Ryan Reynolds, and Justin Timberlake. No I didn’t stutter, Justin Timberlake is a contender. Warner Bros. have spent the past five months searching for the right actor to play Hal Jordan, the hot-shot Air Force pilot who is chosen by a dying alien to be his successor in an intergalactic police force known as the Green Lantern. And hey – the latest DC Comic Hero even gets to wear a super-powered ring!! Reports are that Timberlake, Cooper, and Reynolds all had holding deals with the studio, which expired this past monday. This will force the studio to make a decision soon, as the three will be free to accept new roles. They all have done two rounds of screen tests, surviving other finalist including Michael Fassbender, Henry Cavill, and Jared Leto. The decision to be made is said to be a difficult one, with director Martin Campbell, producer Donald De Line, and the studio each having a different favorite.

Another issue keeping the movie grounded is the budget. Currently, the full-blown space epic is expected to cost at least between $150 million and $200 million dollars, with the possibility of it winding up even higher. Warners would like to have the production costs at a reasonable level before proceeding, which they better figure out soon as the studio has scheduled the movie for a December 2010 opening.

My personal pick would have been Chris Pine for the role, but since that isn’t going to happen, out of the three I’d have to go with Bradley Cooper. Reynolds is already associated with Deadpool in the movie “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” with a spin-off in the works, and Justin Timberlake just doesn’t seem like the super-hero type to me, although I do think he is a decent actor. I wonder just who will edge the others out to become the defender of Space Sector 2814.

LeAnn Rimes Stalking Eddie Cibrian

Woah – Snap! LeAnn Rimes is now being called a stalker by the wife of Eddie Cibrian, the actor Rimes was accused of having an affair (see those LeAnn Rimes cheating photos by clicking here) with during the filming the Lifetime Original Movie “Northern Lights.” It’s been two months since Eddie ended his affair with Rimes, but that’s not stopping his wife Brandi Glanville from standing up for what is rightfully hers, claiming says the country star can’t let go of her obsession with her husband.

Per Us:

“LeAnn is a stalker,” Glanville tells Us. “She refuses to leave us alone — it is shameful and scary. People are going to say it takes two to tango and I get that, but at some point LeAnn needs to stop asking him to dance. LeAnn is so desperate for fame she has left her self-respect in the gutter and doesn’t care who she hurts to get what she wants — She’s hurting my family and messing with the wrong mom.”

Leann, who is currently married to Dean Sheremet, first met Eddie on the set of their Lifetime movie earlier this year. Their affair in mid March came to light with a video of the two kissing at a restaurant. Leann and Eddie are also said to have been busted on a three hour tryst at a hotel together around that time. Glanville, who has been married to Cibrian since 2001, says her husband changed his phone number about a month ago in hopes of ending LeAnn’s endless calls and texts. But whats a mistress to do then? Why, counter this move in true psycho mode, of course… by intentionally tracking Eddie down at a Lakers game on May 17th. With two children with Cibrian, Brandi says she is happy and will fight for what she has. Calling LeAnn’s behavior “disgusting”, Brandi believes that the singer is doing this to get back into the spotlight.

Is Leann a jilted lover who is refusing to let go or is Brandi fooling herself as she tries to keep her family together? Rumor has it Leann was supposed to be in Florida for a concert the weekend of the 17th, but cancelled at the last minute claiming she lost her voice. Then low and behold, she’s at the Laker’s game. Leann has all of the makings of a stalker considering all of her past issues… Get her Brandi!

LeAnn Rimes Caught Cheating – Photos

In case you didn’t already know, LeAnn Rimes is a straight-up ho. And now, we have photographic evidence to back this up. Kinda.

It seems our favorite teen bride is cheating on her back-up dancer husband, Dean Sheremet with Eddie Cibrian, a 35 year-old actor whom Rimes recently starred with in a Lifetime Television movie, “Northern Lights.” (See the trailer below.)

Via US Weekly:

“Pictures taken from a video security camera show the two holding hands and kissing on a romantic dinner date at Mosun and Club M in Laguna Beach, California on March 7. The new couple [also] met for a three-hour tryst at the Malibu Beach Inn on March 14.”

When will these stars ever learn? If you are going to cheat on your husband/ wife, do so somewhere that doesn’t have video surveillance and waiters who will sell you out for $40 and a diet Coke.

According to reports, Cibrian is married to model Brandi Glanville. The two have two children ages five and 23 months.

Neither Rimes’ or Cibrian’s reps had any comment regarding the allegations; however, pictures are worth a thousand words…or in this case, worth a trip to the free clinic.

Mickey Rourke Dating Courtney Love

Good news for Evan Rachel Wood! It seems she and her co-star and rumored boyfriend, Mickey Rourke, aren’t together after all-at least not now. Rourke is now rumored to be getting his groove on with train-wreck and mother-of-the-year nominee Courtney Love. Ewww…

According to the Daily Mirror, Rourke sent a text message to Love following the Golden Globes asking her out on a date. I wonder how many one syllable words that message contained.

“The celebrity couple both attended the Elle Style awards in North London on Monday, where Rourke picked up the Best Actor award and Love picked up the Elle Woman of the Year accolade.”

We here at Hollywood Dame are still trying to understand Elle Magazine’s criteria for Woman of the Year. (See Courtney Love’s Woman of the Year story HERE.)

However, we are very happy for this new couple. They’re a match made for Celebrity Rehab.

Paris Hilton In Love With Robert Pattinson

Run Robert Pattinson! Run! Paris Hilton has expressed interest in Hollywood’s golden ticket, R. Pattz Sparklepants. And by interest, I mean she likely wants to expose him to several communicable diseases.

While at a party hosted by Cash Money Records, Hilton gushed to E! News about Pattinson’s glorious hotness.

“I just saw ‘Twilight’ last night for the first time, and I have to say that I think Rob is a beautiful man and an amazing actor. He’s fabulous! Now I understand all the hype. I just didn’t get it before, but now it all makes sense. I really enjoyed the movie and loved watching Rob in it.”

Here’s hoping that Rob keeps his distance while Hilton is in London shooting her reality show about not having any friends. Don’t give into the hype Sparklepants or you’ll be at the clinic before you can say “crab infestation.”
