Lance Armstrong welcomed his latest addition to the Armstrong empire. His son Max was born on Thursday night. Anna Hansen gave birth to a baby boy and weighed 7 lb., 5 oz and was 20 inches long. Lance made the announcement via Twitter.

Per Lance’s Twitter:

“Wassup, world? My name is Max Armstrong and I just arrived. My Mommy is healthy and so am I!”

What’s up with the name Max? Max (of Max and Emme thank you very much)- Jennifer Lopez Jr., Max – Christina Aguilera and now Max of Lance Armstrong. What ever happened to the name Bob or Theo?

What Others Said:

Dlisted - “You know, whenever I go see a friend or relative who has just had a baby it’s usually the same thing. They hold up their week old ball of preciousness and say to me, “Isn’t he/she the most cutest baby you’ve ever seen?” I clear my throat, blink several times, think of fluffy kittens frolicking in the fields and then lie my ass off by saying, “DUH! Of course!”

Pink is the New Blog – “I mean, you can see the poor woman crashed out on her hospital bed in the pic of the baby — I bet the poor dear was wrecked! Ain’t technology grand?”

Lance Armstrong Dumped Sheryl Crow Due to Baby Desires

Lance Armstrong reportedly couldn’t handle Sheryl Crow’s need for marriage and children and subsequently dumped her back in 2005. According to the new book about the Tour de France King, aptly titled “Lance” (no jazz hands despite the fact I feel their should be) he grew tired of the baby argument. (As in he didn’t want her to crap one out, but wasn’t opposed to dating them. Enter Ashley Olsen.)

Per “Lance” Via NY Post:

“She wanted marriage, she wanted children; and not that I didn’t want that, but I didn’t want that at that time because I had just gotten out of a marriage, I’d just had kids [Luke, Grace and Bella],” Armstrong, 37, reveals. “Yet we’re up against her biological clock — that pressure is what cracked it.”

He went on to reveal to the “Lance” author that his baby making skills are a gift.

“Because if somebody wants a child — man, that’s the greatest gift you can give to a woman — so who are you to stand there and say I don’t want one. So we were at different points in our lives. We were not compatible on that issue.”

Crow said screw that noise and it May 2007 she adopted a two week old baby boy she named Wyatt Steven Crow. Even Armstrong is expecting another addition despite his lack of interest in having more children. His current girlfriend, Anna Hansen announced her pregnancy last December and is expected to deliver next month.

It takes balls to say something like that. Errr…I guess it only takes a uni-ball to say something like that. Anyway…the point? Sheryl Crow is hot, Lance Armstong is a fertile but stingy uni-ball and it’s a really slow news day.

Lance Armstrong and Anna Hansen Pregnant

Lance Armstrong confirmed to People that he knocked up his girlfriend, Anna Hansen.

“Anna and I are thrilled to confirm that we are expecting in June and our families are ecstatic and grateful,” he says in a statement. “We are very much looking forward to what 2009 brings on many fronts. We appreciate respecting our privacy, as we are both eager to celebrate the holidays as a family.”

Lance already has three children under the age of 10. He and his first wife, Kristin, have a boy, Luke-9, and win girls, Isabella and Grace-7. These children were conceived before Lance went through his battle with testicular cancer. They were fortunate enough to benefit from in vitro fertilization.

Congrats to the couple. Good to know the ball cancer isn’t keeping him down. Armstrong is gearing up for the Tour de France next year. This will be his 8th win should he cross the finish line first.
