More details have followed on that incident. According to a New Orleans cop who squealed to TMZ, Cage is now being investigated for child abuse. His wife told police that they had been arguing about his “intoxicated state” on their way to pick up their son from a friend’s house. Alice added that she was driving and the fight continued as they drove home. Upon arriving home, she further claims that he “fell while holding their son. The fall caused the 5 year old to suffer a minor abrasion to his left knee.”

R. Kelly is once again in big trouble for engaging in sexual acts with a minor according to Media Take Out. The 42 year old “artist” was caught with having a sexual relationship with a 17 year old girlfriend. Currently the Olympia Fields police are investigating him for statutory rape.

“A day before [R Kelly] left for his South Africa tour) about 8 police squad cars pulled up at his front gate. One of the officers, in a loud, commanding voice, yelled: “This is the police. Open up this gate at once. We have a search warrant”.
After seeing the officers via his security monitors, Robert instructed his security guys to open the gate. The officers searched the entire house. They were looking for an underage girl who had spent several days at his home with him. Ironically, the girl had just left the mansion about 20 minutes before the police arrived with the search warrant.
The police eventually caught up with the girl, who had just turned 17 years-old–just above the legal limit in the state of Illinois. However, the Olympia Fields Police are still tenaciously pursuing the case. They are still gathering evidence, which includes signed affidavits from several witnesses from within R. Kelly’s circle, who can attest to the girl spending consecutive nights at his home prior to the date of her birthday.”
Kelly is currently in South Africa and rumor has it that apon his return he could be arrested in the airport.
Egads. Lets hope if this is true this sad little man gets some help.
Steven Page, the lead singer of the band Barenaked Ladies has decided its time to part ways and try his hand out at a solo career after being charged with drugs offenses in the United States last year. Police found and arrested Page with cocaine at an upstate New York apartment in July last year. The charges were later reduced to a misdemeanor, and a deal was secured to have charges dropped if he stayed out of trouble for six months. His arrest came after the band released an album of children’s songs titled “Snacktime.”
Per Reuters:
“By mutual agreement, Steven Page will be parting company with the remaining members of Barenaked Ladies,” the band said on its Web site, saying Page would be pursuing solo projects.”
The band was formed in Toronto and released 12 albums, producing hits such as “If I Had $1,000,000,” “One Week” and “Pinch Me.” The remaining members of the band plan to stay together and will return to the studio in April and will tour in the fall. Page wished the band the best.

“These guys are my brothers. We’ve grown up together over the past twenty years. I love them and wish them all the best in the future,” the statement quoted Page as saying.
There was no mention in the statement of Page’s drug arrest last year, or whether that might be related to the announcement. I wonder if it will be the same without Page. I just cant see them touring and having the same success… Steven Page IS The Barenaked Ladies!!

Even the police can’t stand his ego. Kayne West was arrested and released this morning in in England. West was arrested at the Gateshead hotel after getting into a fight with a member of the paparazzi. The “Love Lockdown” singer was leaving Tup Tup club in Newcastle when he shoved the camera into the pap’s face.
West was angry after being filmed leaving the club with 4 girls. This all went down around 2 AM (London time). This is his second arrest. In September he was taken in for similar charges. He was released on both arrests and cleared of any charges.
It will on be a matter of hours before he hops on his MacBook Air and starts blabbering about squid brains in all caps. Ugh.
