‘Dancing with the Stars’ is a breeding ground for morning after gossip. I didn’t realize how quickly a room full of Z-listers in spandex can turn into buffet of gossip. It’s all the sequins and cubic zirconia. It does things to people.

Last night Sarah Palin was sitting in the audience trying to rock a bump in effort “to be super duper trendy like the youth on Jersey Shore who help make America great by stimulating the economy with their supply and demand of hair gel and condoms.” (Say it with that Palin twang.) Tom Bergeron drew the short straw back stage and had to do a mini interview with Sarah. Here is where the boos come in.
After Jennifer Grey and her partner received their scores and were in the holding room (which I am convinced doubles as an underground Family Feud themed swingers club) boos and jeering rang out. Grey and the rest of the cast were clueless as to what was going on. Word is that the crowd was booing Sarah Palin. Reps for the show say that the audience was jeering the lackluster scores given to Grey despite the fact Jen had the highest scores of the night.
This is where my humble powers of deduction start tingling…Why would the audience boo after the judgment was over and not when the scores were handed out? I am sure the fact that Tom put on his lets-get-this-done-and-over-with face and trudged over to Palin was purely coincidental to the spontaneous crowd boo. As the camera panned and the Sarah mini interview began she had a warmer reception.

Another FYI, Jamie Lee Curtis has been cheering for Grey. I adore Curtis and I am glad to see her on the show. It makes having to watch Ceiling Eyes aka Audrina Patridge worth it. Seriously. What is she looking at?

Bristol Palin Joins ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Excuse me, did I miss the time she was actually a “star?” Despite being famous for, well – pretty much nothing except for the nasty baby-mama/daddy-drama going on between her and her ex Levi Johnston – Bristol Palin has joined the cast of the upcoming season of ABC’s ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ set to premiere Sept. 20th with a cast that is said to also includes David Hasselhoff, Audrina Patridge, ‘Jersey’s Shore’ The Situation, and Brandy.
And she claims that Levi is a fame-whore, being was upset with him for wanting to try and achieve fame? Pot? Kettle? Hello?

This will be Bristol Palin’s second gig with ABC, having guest starred last month on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager. It seems this teen mom may be taking a page from Melissa Rycroft’s book, using DWTS to rebound after her recent breakup (with Levi Johnston).
I thought they got the “stars” (cough) for this show from a list of has-been celebrities who want to re-energize their lagging careers. How does Palin fit this description? One has to BE someone before they are considered to be a “has-been.”
Other new names reported to be joining the cast of “DWTS” are former ‘Brady Bunch‘ mom Florence Henderson, ‘Dirty Dancing‘ star Jennifer Grey, ex-NBA star Rick Fox, former NFL star Kurt Warner, and comedienne Margaret Cho.
Sorry ABC, you just lost me. Casting fail!

Lindsay Lohan Is Buddy Buddy With Robbery Suspect

The guy arrested for allegedly burglarizing Lindsay Lohan’s home earlier this month, and is a suspect in the burglary of Audrina Patridges‘ home, is actually a friend of Lohans. What… a… surprise… Several people who worked with her on the set of “Labor Pains” filmed last year say they actually saw Nicholas Prugo hanging out on the set with Lindsay Lohan.
Per TMZ:
“One person who worked on the set estimates she saw them together at least 10 times.”
Prugo was arrested for cocaine possession in February. He was placed in a drug rehab program shortly afterwards. He was also arrested last month for DUI. Theft, DUI, rehab, and a cocaine arrest… any possibility he could be Lindsay’s long-lost brother? Whether Prugo had been to Lohan’s house prior to the break-in is so far not clear. Nor is his possible connection to the robbery of Patridge. Nicholas’ father is Frank Prugo, former vice president of First Look Studios, the organization responsible for releasing the straight to dvd disaster “Labor Pains.” The movie was released in May, and her home robbed in August, so the timeline for Nick’s alleged involvement would make sense. Hey Lindsay, if you pay your drug dealer on time he won’t have to break into your house and take your things. I’m just saying…
