Lady Gaga’s video for “The Edge of Glory,” the latest single off Born This Way (Streamline/Interscope/KonLive), premiers today during ‘So You Think You Can Dance?’ and is now available to view on VEVO.
Well this week may have you on Gaga overload, but let’s give you some more. The just released cover for the June issue of “Rolling Stone” features, you guessed it – Lady Gaga!
Yesterday her internet release of “Born This Way” brought music servers to halt, bogging down sites such as Amazon with user-traffic. Today the numbers are only expected to go up as the album hits shelves.
Lady Gaga shared another song from her second album on iTunes. ‘The Edge of Glory’ is more pop but sticks with the late 80’s/early 90’s that ‘Born This Way’ boasts.
Lady Gaga is teaming up with the Robin Hood Foundation to help out homeless youth in her hometown of NY. She’s asking her Facebook friends to help pick the charity, too.
The little monsters can pick from the following organizations: The Door, Hetrick-Martin Institute, Lawyers for Children, Safe Horizon or SCO Family of Services. The organization will be given the donation in two installments of $500,000 per year over two years. On May 9th she will do a special benefit concert for the Robin Hood Foundation and announce the results.

We are just about a month away from Lady Gaga‘s release of “Born This Way.” On Friday, she released her latest single ‘Judas’ and on Saturday she gave her little monsters another little preview of the upcoming CD.
I love how brazen Lady Gaga is. She will admit to snorting a bottle of vodka and only wanting to entertain a well endowed man in her bed.
Her honest admissions never cease. Perhaps it’s a shock factor or maybe she is brutally honest. Either way, Gaga was equally as open with Harpers Bazaar as she entertained them for an interview and sneak peek of ‘Born This Way.’
Lady Gaga on pot being the catalyst for the single: “And her inspiration for the video’s out-of-this-world surrealism? “A lot of weed.” Later she elaborates, “’Born This Way’ is the marijuana to the heroin of the album. The [album's] experience gets massively more intense as you explore it. All the different songs are different kinds of highs.”
A highlight moment of her Gaga sense also came through as HB goes into a rather “tense” moment about her boney look for ‘Born This Way.’ She is adamant that what you see in the video and her performance of the song is not makeup.
“Well, first of all,” she says, “they’re not prosthetics. They’re my bones.”
Okay, so when did the bones appear?
“They’ve always been inside of me, but I have been waiting for the right time to reveal to the universe who I truly am.”
Did she will them to come out for this album?
“They come out when I’m inspired.”
Perhaps she means in a sense of art such as tattoos becoming part of who you are. Or maybe she is delusional and needs to ease up on the bong. Either way, she does share several good points deeper into the interview.
On her image and fans trying to emulate her to the point of body modification: “”I have never had plastic surgery, and there are many pop singers who have. I think that promoting insecurity in the form of plastic surgery is infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification.”
Where she spends her millions: “She says it goes to her live shows and her friends. She flew about 20 people to L.A. for the Grammys, and if anyone on tour needs equipment, it comes out of her piggy bank. ‘I spend my money on my props and my creations. I’m an inventor.’ What means something to me is my music. I don’t want to make money; I want to make a difference.”
Kinda makes me feel bad for wanting to blow money on a man-servant. Kinda.

I love me some Elton John. I also love me some Gaga despite the fact she watches baseball games practically nude and throws temper tantrums if her seat isn’t pleasing. (I may or may not be guilty of the same instance, but my mishap may or may not have involved a stealing a mascot.)
Elton hit Saturday Night Live last weekend and revealed that Lady Gaga was his son’s Godmother during his dialogue.
“For those of you concerned that we are unusual parents, don’t worry. It’s not like we are the only two people involved in the child’s life. His godmother is Lady Gaga. That is true. It’s not a joke. Lady Gaga is his actual godmother, which is ironic, because I’ve always said that Mars ain’t the kind of place to raise your kids. And Gaga loves Mars. She says Mars has good schools and great discos.”
Most thought it was just a joke, but he meant what he said. “It’s not a joke.” Gaga also sidestepped the question just before her ‘Born This Way’ radio premiere.
“I don’t really want to reveal anything. They’re going to make many lovely announcements about their beautiful son Zachary. I’m too much of a lady to talk about that on the air.”

Adam Lambert showed up uninvited to Lady Gaga’s surprise birthday party at the Mexican joint La Cita Bar. He was soon asked to leave thanks to his drunken behavior.
The ‘American Idol’ runner up came with the Scissor Sisters who were invited to the bash. He showed up to the bar already drunk and belligerent. Perez told the Morning Dish radio show that he was “beyond drunk, super sloppy embarrassingly drunk.” (It’s at the 5:10 minute marker.)
Soon after he arrived he started beating on the walls and eventually punched a hole in the bar’s low ceiling. Lambert confirmed the incident with a Tweet about his fist hurting. Semiprecious Weapons also called him out during their performance and yelled to the crowd, ‘from American Idol to jail!’
“Was trying for celebratory gesture 4 gaga’s B- piñata style…instead my fist is all bruised and la cita has a hole in the ceiling. #sloppy.”
What the Hello Kitty kind of celebratory gesture involves throwing fists? Did he think he was with the monkeys on Jersey Shore? But the ‘Born this Way’ songstress hit her limit when Adam started to shove things in her mouth. He also reportedly tried to sing for Gaga and that didn’t end well.

After that, she had her security team throw Lambert out of the party and told him to go home.
