Hollywood's Grand Dame of Gossip and Style
John Mayer has definitely dated his fair share of Hollywood women. Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift, and Jessica Simpson are just a few that have had their hearts broken by John. He’s a big mouth and has been known to share many intimate details of his past lovers. Remember when he called Simpson “sexual napalm”? Well now John has moved on to another victim girl – Renee Zellweger.
So much for their insanely attractive future children. Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli have called it quits – again – officially ending their 5 year relationship. The couple, who have dated mostly on but sometimes off since 2006, “just grew apart and went their separate ways,” according to a source who described their breakup as “amicable.”
Is this a late April-Fools day joke? Bradley Cooper is in talks to star in Relativity Media’s upcoming remake of ‘The Crow.’ The 1994 original, based on the comic book about a musician who comes back from the dead to avenge the murder of his fiance, shot to cult fame as soon as it was released, but it’s always been tainted with sadness: actor Brandon Lee was killed during the filming of one of the movie’s more iconic scenes as the result of a props mistake on set – a live round was accidentally mixed into the blanks which were meant to be fired.
The new film is moving ahead quickly, with director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (“28 Days Later”) attached to the movie only a week ago. He and Cooper reportedly hit it off during a recent meeting in Spain, eagerly sharing their vision for the character and the film. What that means, we’re not sure… but it sounds like they might have been smoking a little too much wacky-tobacky if they think this is a good idea.
Per MTV:
“Relativity would not confirm the talks but sources say Cooper, currently in theaters in Relativity’s hit thriller ‘Limitless‘, is keen to board the project.”
The Crow reboot has been in the works since 2007, with British filmmaker Stephen Norrington previously attached to direct. Nick Cave wrote the most recent draft of the script, though sources say a new writer will be brought on to work with Fresnadillo. The project seemed to be fading fast when Mark Wahlberg declined the role sometime back, but Cooper’s involvement certainly changes all of that. Now, I actually happen to think Cooper can actually act, but The Crow is the definition of a dark and brooding character. That isn’t exactly the type of role the man is known for.
Really? I mean, I love Bradley Cooper, but I just don’t see this one. Hollywood has been recycling a lot of scripts lately (even a few that have barely had time to collect dust), but this remake is a little hard to swallow – I see no reason to remake it. Isn’t The Crow on the list of “untouchable” movies with ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show‘ and ‘The Evil Dead?’

‘Hangover Part II’ has a scene in which a tattoo artist in Bangkok inks a Tyson style tat on Stu’s face. Originally the role was going to be filled by Mel Gibson, but he was replaced after going pre-jacuzzi bj crazy. Liam Neeson stepped in to fill the roll, but re-shoots have forced his portrayal of the tattoo artist to be cut.
Todd Phillips, the director, confirmed to Variety that the Neeson was replaced. Nick Cassavetes filled the void after a problem with cut scenes and continuity forced him to re-shoot the entire tattoo sequence.
“While editing, Phillips chose to cut the scene that immediately followed Neeson’s cameo, meaning it no longer had the information necessary to logically get the Wolf Pack (Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms) to what became the next scene.
‘We were in a complete time crunch so I called up Nick and asked if he would do the part,’ Phillips explained. ‘He came in and crushed it and that is the scene that you will ultimately see in the film. (I’m excited for everyone) to see the film. It turned out great.’”
The film is still set for a Memorial Day weekend release on May 26th.
My mother will be heartbroken, but at least I won’t have to explain what “Bangkok Drippy Drip” is.

Bradley Cooper and Renee Zellweger Split!
Despite taking her with him for his stint on ‘Inside the Actor’s Studio,’ Bradley Cooper has split from longtime girlfriend Renee Zellweger.
The two moved in together last fall, and Zellweger quickly became close to Cooper’s parents, especially his mother Gloria. Zellweger even skipped out on the Golden Globe Awards at the last minute to be with Cooper when his father passed away.
People Magazine confirmed the split late Friday, but the couple gave no reason behind the break-up.
Zellweger was briefly married to country singer Kenny Chesney, and Cooper also had a short lived marriage to actress Jennifer Esposito.
Wyclef Jean Shot In Haiti
While in his native country of Haiti this week, singer Wyclef Jean was shot in the hand.
According to TMZ, Jean exited his car when he heard gunshots. He looked down and saw blood on his hand, shirt, and shoes. He did not know who fired the shots or if he was the intended target.
A rep for Jean released the following statement:
“He’s fine now. It happened late yesterday night and he was released after a couple hours.”
The shooting took place on the eve of Haiti’s presidential election of which Jean tried to run, but was later deemed ineligible due to residential requirements.
The trailer for “The Hangover Part 2” was recently released and shows cast members Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha and Zach Galifianakis back in action, this time in Thailand for Stu’s wedding.

In addition to Galifianakis, Cooper and Helms, the cast also includes, in multiple other roles and cameos: Justin Bartha, Ken Jeong, Mike Tyson, Juliette Lewis, Jamie Chung and Liam Neeson.
While it doesn’t give away too much, we do see the reassembled wolf pack. If the antics are as crazy as the first movie, I can’t wait!

Renee Zellweger is far wiser than I thought. She shares my distaste for children and contrary to reports she wants a baby so bad she dressing up her cats in bibs and feeding them applesauce a la Jennifer Aniston, Renee is more focused on her career and continuing her relationship with Bradley Cooper.
“Renee knows time isn’t on her side as far as getting pregnant is concerned,” a source said. “But she’s desperate to become a mom. She’d love to have a baby with Bradley. Renee has even talked about the possibility of adoption.”
She is too busy trying to score roles in Cooper’s movies. Right now she is attempting to secure a role as a love interest for one of his costars in the Hangover sequel.

“Renee loves the first movie and this just gives her and Brad a reason to hang out together on set. The funny thing is Renee looks like playing a girl the guys meet and one of them has a one-night-stand with her — only it’s not Brad’s character!”

Renee Zellweger doesn’t seem too keen on the idea of packing on the pounds again for the third installment of a “Bridget Jones” film after producers have told her she needs to gain 30 pounds on her small frame. She is reportedly trying to persuade producers to downsize her character to look more like her. Rumors are reporting Zellweger fears that plumping up might put a strain on her relationship with boyfriend Bradley Cooper. She is said to blame the demise of her previous relationship with Jack White due to having to gain weight in the first two Bridget Jones movies. But, in true Hollywood fashion, her rep claims there is no truth to the speculation.
Per Hollywood:
Her rep tells GossipCop.com, “(The story is) so not true. Renee more than anyone would be true to the character.”
Other reports circulating says that Zellweger has even suggested wearing a fat suit while filming the third film, which are also being denied. Renee recently showed up at the Berlin Film Festival looking a little fuller in her mid-section, kicking baby rumors into high gear. No statements from Cooper or Zellweger have been released about the Mini-Cooper as of yet, but could that be what is really behind the negotiation holdup for Bridget Jones?

‘The Hangover’ star Bradley Cooper is apparently set to tie-the-knot with his beard, I mean girlfriend, actress Renee Zellweger (anyone else always hear Dave Chapell say, “Who the hell is Renee Zellweger?!”).
While in New York recently for an appearance on ‘Late Night with David Letterman,’ Cooper was spotted ring shopping.

“He already has a setting he likes, but he visited various jewelers on 47th Street, including I. Friedman & Son, to look for a stone. He wore a hat and dark glasses and just walked right in. He is old-fashioned,” the insider says. He’ll probably get down on one knee and propose in a romantic setting — and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was on Valentine’s Day.”
Valentine’s Day? How original. And I sure it has nothing to do with the fact that Cooper is starring in the upcoming film by the same name. A little free PR perhaps? No. It’s love. Very, very well-timed love.
Something tells me that, if this is true, the two will wed just before the release of the ‘A-Team.’

Jennifer Aniston isn’t making anymore friends in Hollywood. That’s OK. She has Oprah and Courtney Cox which is the Hollywood equivanlent of being friends with Jesus and Buddah.
However, it seems Jen has temporarily taken her eyes off St. Angelina Jolie and focused them on two other ladies: Tina Fey and Renee Zellweger.
It’s no surprise that Aniston and Zellweger are taking digs at one another thanks to Bradley Cooper choosing to give his love muffin to Renee and not Jen. You think that Zellweger would take the high road and ride off into the sunset with her hand tucked into Cooper’s back pocket, but apparently she doesn’t roll that way.
In an interview with CNN to promote her latest film, “My One and Only,” Renee made it very clear that she is happy to be known for her acting and not other things, like Ms. Aniston is known for.

“I’m not an actress who made her way based on physicality — I think quite the opposite, in fact. I sort of disappear a little bit, with respect to my looks. I’m lucky. I’m not a standout, kind of knockout kind of girl that, you know, it’s all about my great hair or something.”
Ouch. Don’t worry Jen, in the end Zellweger will likely be remembered for her love of the Krispy Kreams while preparing for ‘Bridget Jones.’
But Aniston isn’t just alienating those in the movie biz. Seems Jen is also giving it to television’s golden girl, Tina Fey.
Jennifer was nominated for an Emmy for her guest appearance on the beloved and hella funny ’30 Rock.’ Also nominated in the same category? Tina Fey, for her guest spot as Sarah Palin on SNL.
