Britney Spears’ Tour is in Trouble!

Tickets for Britney Spears ‘Femme Fatale’ tour were supposed to start going on sale this weekend, but those plans have been scrapped for now. Every since she went on Good Morning America to announce her tour things have been going wrong.

First of all she was supposed to tour with Enrique Iglesias, but he pulled out and decided to do his own tour. Then there were talks of Nicki Minaj touring with Britney, but nothing has come of that so far. With no opening act, Britney isn’t feeling her tour and it could end up being postponed or even cancelled. Her tour was supposed to kick off June 17th, but that’s all up in the air right now after Britney talked to her managers and expressed a concern.

Per The Sun:

A source said: “Britney has told her management that she wants to push back her concert dates because she’s not feeling ready. She doesn’t feel she has enough time to prepare and has asked management to pull all her dates and postpone everything until later on in the year. She’s a perfectionist and wants everything to be better than ever before.”

What’s there to get ready for – Put on a glittery outfit, strap on a microphone to make it look like you’re actually singing, and hire some dancers to distract from your lifeless flailing around on stage! So will she or won’t she head out on tour? And I wonder if her sudden hesitation has anything to do with the news she’s planning on getting married this year? Hhmmm…

Aussies Have Had Enough of Your Fakery Britney Spears

Ironically, the land that gave us both The Wiggles and Men at Work, has a problem with Britney Spears.

Brit, currently in Australia completing another leg of her “Circus” tour, has been scolded by the country’s Fair trading Minister and Minister Assisting the Premier on the Arts, Virigina Judge, for Brit’s superb ability to lipsync, ya’ll!

“Let’s be clear – live means live. If you are spending up to $200 I think you deserve better than a film clip. The NSW Government would be happy to look at options, such as a disclaimer on a ticket which would warn consumers a performance is pre-recorded.”

What I find most amuzing is that no one is bothered by the fact that she walked around Australia this week (on a chilly day) bra-less. Having to look at Brit’s nips is much more frightening to me than watching her lipsync.

Spears’ people addressed the situation by releasing the following statement:

“This is a pop spectacular, this is a showband show. You come for the experience. There is a lot to see about this show, there’s nothing like this in the world. Britney Spears will entertain you, that’s what people come for. We absolutely give them a show.”

So no, there is no live singing whatsoever?! Remember the good old days when one needed to be able to sing in order to be a singer? Balls.
