Jake Gyllenhaal is Single; The Dame Goes Missing

Once again the tabloids are reporting that Jake Gyllenhaal and Resse Witherspoon have parted ways. It looks like good old ‘People Magazine’ did have their facts straight.

According to those peskey sources, Reese didn’t want to commit to Jake and called things off-leaving the ‘Brothers’ star heartbroken.

Via US Weekly:

“She felt pressured to wed again but she wasn’t ready. She couldn’t give Jake enough and she got cold feet. Jake wanted all of her. When she was giving all of her energy to Jake, she felt like she wasn’t giving her kids enough,” the source says.

If you believe the source, Gyllenhaal wanted to play house, while Witherspoon was too busy making poorly acclaimed movies and blaming her lack of time on her kids.

Something smells rotten…and I am pretty sure it’s Jake’s ‘Prince of Persia’ beard.

The Dame herself has just boarded a plane to LA to help Jake through this rough time.

Tokio Hotel – World Behind My Wall

Tokio Hotel is a German band founded in Magdeburg, Germany in 2001 consisting identical brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz, along with Gustav Schafer and Georg Listing. The four met after a live show in a Magdeburg club where Listing and Schafer, who knew each other from music school, watched from the audience while the Kaulitz brothers played on the stage. They formed a band and soon began playing in talent shows and small concerts under the name Devilish, being discovered by music producer Peter Hoffmann after Bill’s participation in a children’s Star Search in 2003. They then decided to change their name from Devilish to Tokio Hotel: “Tokio”, the German spelling of the Japanese city Tokyo, due to a love of the city, and “Hotel” due to their constant touring and living in hotels.

Its been quite the busy month for Tokio Hotel; Not only are they featured in the new Verizon Droid commercial their song “Human Connect To Human” (Check out the sci-fi themed spot here), but they also won the award for Best Group earlier this month at MTV’s European Music Awards where they also performed their new single “World Behind My Wall.” This guitar-charged ballad is their new, official focus track in the US and follows “Automatic” as the second single off of their latest album, “Humanoid.” Check out the song above then head on over to iTunes to pick up their latest album.
