For the first time, Lily Allen is opening up about her heartache after the tragic loss of her baby last year in a documentary titled “Lily Allen: Riches To Rags.” Lily – who was six months pregnant with boyfriend Sam Cooper’s child – is said to have been rushed to hospital with severe stomach pain. Although every effort was made to save her unborn baby, it was confirmed ‘with great sadness’ that the couple sadly lost the child.’
Per Daily Mail:
The singer, who lost her child six months into her pregnancy, says: ‘It was a really long battle – and I think that kind of thing changes a person.’
Their couple’s first baby died, her second in three years, after Allen contracted a viral infection six months into her pregnancy. (Doctors say technically, because it occurred after the 20th week, Allen’s second loss was a pre-term delivery. Her first miscarriage was at four months in 2008.) The couple was expecting a boy. At the time, friends said the couple was ‘grief-stricken’ by their loss.
During the film, Lily also speaks of her battle with bulimia, and is painfully honest about how she struggled to over come the condition.
‘I used to vomit after meals. It’s not something I’m proud of,’ the singer admits. ‘But, I tell you what, a lot of people came up to me telling me how great I looked and I’d be on the cover of every magazine. I thought I looked good and it was great to be able to try on clothes and feel a million dollars. But I wasn’t happy, I really wasn’t.’
Despite the praise, Allen said she wasn’t happy on the inside and finally realized she was “a pop star, not a model.” The documentary was filmed before Lily suffered the loss of her baby, but the film crew went back to continue filming her story after. The film also follows the opening of her clothing boutique for her fashion line ‘Lucy in Disguise,’ which she created alongside her sister Sarah Owen.
She has really matured into a thoughtful woman. Good for her in speaking out about the pressures to be skinny and eating disorders.

Demi Lovato has been released from rehab. She has been seen out shopping, hitting up an eating disorder center and getting coffee. Now, she made a video about her return.
“I wanted to let you know that I am back and home. But, I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for the support you guys have given me along the way. I read all the Tweets, the trending topics and all of your fan mail. Your support is what got me through this. The journey that I’ve been on has been very difficult over the past few months. I was dealing with issues that I know not only girls just my age but of all ages are dealing with. I hope to one day raise awareness of everything so I can help people the way you helped me during this rough time. I can’t tell you how much light you guys brought into my life in probably the darkest time of my life. Without you guys, I wouldn’t be here today. I wanted to let you guys know I am excited to get back to work. I love you and I couldn’t have done this without you.”
Before we get our hope up on a re-freshened return of Demi, let remember that she is still rumored to be dating Wilmer Valderrama. His conquests include other trouble kids from the Disney playground like Lindsay Lohan.

The eagle eyes over a X17 have caught Demi Lovato arriving at A New Journey Eating Disorder Center this afternoon/morning.
Demi just checked out of rehab after punching her back up dancer in the eye a few months ago. Her rep admitted that she was seeking treatment for “emotional and physical issues” which, according rumor was a depression/drug addiction/cutting issue. The New Journey website has a mission statement that focuses on bulimia, anorexia, binge eating and compulsive eating.
“A New Journey’s primary focus is to ensure emotional and psychical well being form destructive eating, self-destructive behaviors and negative thinking. Intensive Treatment Programming consists of a combination of specialized groups, nutritional meal planning, supervised meals, meal processing, and educational presentations designed to support the recovery process.“
Since Demi’s release from rehab, she has been taking it easy. Below are photos of the troubled Disney starlet smiling for looming paps with some Starbucks. Early in the week she spotted hitting up the Cheesecake Factory and flashed a smile. (Click HERE for those pics…)

Everyone is theorizing the who, what and when and most sought after reason why Demi Lovato’s is in rehab. Several factors are being highlighted for the Lovato meltdown. A rep merely stated that she is dealing with “personal issues,” which is true, but not nearly scratching the surface.
E! reports that Demi has been slowly broken down starting with bullying from her classmates. She eventually opted out of school for homeschooling. Another source adds that Lovato is obsessed with her physical image and suffers from bulimia. She has also been battling a cutting habit. Photos of Demi Lovato’s cutting marks (click HERE for those) surfaced after she attended Miley Cyrus’ birthday party. A rep gave a defense of wearing candy bracelets, but obviously that wasn’t the case. A few family members confirmed that she has a past full of cutting issues.
The breaking point came after she and Joe Jonas broke up. They have continued to tour, but the offstage issues are still tender. The Jonas Brothers nicknamed her “Demi Drama” after Joe dumped her. After the first leg of the Jonas Brothers/Lovato tour, the 3 boys got a break while Demi continued to pimp ‘Camp Rock 2.’
Enter the breakdown…at the airport in Peru, Demi started arguing with a backup dancer. She unloaded on the girl and Joe Jonas’ current girlfriend, Ashley Greene, was then threatened.
“”She just lost it right at the airport in front of everyone,” says the source. “The [Jonases'] dad basically said right there, ‘That’s it. You’re going home.’ ”
Demi also made verbal threats to Joe’s new squeeze, Ashley Greene, who was at the airport as well and witnessed her meltdown, the source says.”

After starting to slowly make her real comeback, Britney’s problems are still following her. She has been rumored to have an ongoing battle with eating disorders for years. During her breakdown she was spotted several times at grocery stores stocking up on laxatives. Despite gaining a few pounds while she was spiraling downwards she continued to abuse diuretics. Britney Spears’ bulimia battle doesn’t stop there. She is known for adoration of guilty pleasures such as Taco Bell, McDonalds and Red Bull. To shed the depression weight she is turning back to her old ways according to new reports.
“Britney’s diet consists mostly of Taco Bell and turkey jerky washed down with Red Bull,” a source close to one of Britney’s bodyguards told Star this week. “She throws up after meals, both at home and at restaurants and she isn’t very discreet about it. People around her think she’s bulimic.”
During her spin out of control she was said to be taking 10 laxatives a day. This was an effort to easily shed the pounds. She was buying Correctal in mass quantities. Her bodyguard squealed about her unhidden attempts at weight loss to Star Magazine for a decent wad of cash. Oprah, Angelina Jolie and The Olsens were also called out on stories by their bodyguards.
Sounds like the hired help needs a lesson from Kevin Costner on the code of the celebrity bodyguard. Yeah, and Britney…sweety…you are going explode poo if you keep it up.
