Oscars Nomination Snubs 2011

The 2011 Academy Award nominees were announced early this morning. 10 films are up for Best Picture, including my pick for the win ‘Inception,’ however Christopher Nolan was notably snub from the Best Director nominees list. He also failed to make the directing list last year after the phenomenal success of ‘The Dark Knight.’
‘The Fighter’ is up for Best Picture. Christian Bale and Amy Adams each received nominations in for the film, but Mark Wahlberg was snubbed for his performance.
Golden Globe contenders ‘The Tourist’ and ‘Burlesque’ were also totally absent from every category. Both films failed to land a single nomination. Looks like Ricky Gervais was right.
Despite his heavy campaign efforts, Justin Timberlake was snubbed along with his co-star, Andrew Garfield. Ryan Gosling was generating huge Oscar buzz for his performance in ‘Blue Valentine,’ but didn’t make the list. Mila Kunis was another actress that we all assumed would make the cut. Unfortunately she too was snubbed. Barbara Hershey was another actress that should be on the list for her supporting performance in “The Black Swan.”

Blake Lively Flirting with Leonardo DiCaprio While Christina Aguilera Gets Sloppy Drunk

Jeremy Renner’s birthday party was a star littered bash. Colin Farrell, Charlize Theron, Scarlett Johansson were all in attendance, but left the party unscathed from rumors.
On Saturday night the ‘Hurt Locker’ star hosted the celebrations at his house in The Hills. Leonardo DiCaprio was there and spent most of his time with Blake Lively. Page Six reports his long time girlfriend, Bar Refaeli, was busy working while Leo enjoyed Blake’s company.
“A spy told us, ‘They were on the balcony together for an hour. They were standing close in a corner and looked like there was a lot of flirting. Later, they were together again by the bar. But a pal told us he and Lively ‘are just friends’ and Leo left with Kevin Connolly.’”
Lively has been connected to Ryan Gosling lately. She flew to his side during his NY ‘Blue Valentine’ premiere after finishing up her Parisian Chanel shoot. (Click HERE for more details, photos on that hook up…)
Meanwhile, Matt Rutler had to help Christina Aguilera who had too much to drink. The ‘Burlesque’ star was wobbly as she exited the party and was practically carried out.

Evidence Of Christina Aguilera’s Breast Implants?

Christina Aguilera has once again sparked rumors of going under the knife. There’s been endless speculation that she has breast implants, and a new photo may finally prove it once and for all. While in Tokyo this week to promote ‘Burlesque‘, she raised her arm to wave to fans and revealed a scar in her right armpit, a common sign of a breast augmentation where the implants are inserted through the armpit.

Breast implants are a topic Christina Aguilera has always refused to comment on. However the above picture taken of the singer waving at fans in Japan showing an odd scar under her armpit have sparked the did she or did she not get her boobs enlarged rumor again.
According to the Daily Mail the scar, which is a small line, could be the result of a transaxillary endoscopic breast augmentation which is a breast enlargement technique where implants are placed through an armpit incision. The site further reports that specialist have confirmed that getting plastic surgery on your chest that way would leave an inch long scar.
A celebrity? With BREAST IMPLANTS?! This can’t be! Compare the pictures below of Christina now with the ones of hers from the 90′s. Who really thought they were real?

Christina Aguilera Pregnant ?! – VIDEOS, PICS

Last night at the 2010 AMA’s Christian Aguilera performed “Express” from the Cher fueled film, “Burlesque.” She straddled a chair in a black body hugging ensemble that showed off every curve. Naturally, this is direct path to pregnancy rumors.
Aguilera is going through a divorce with Jordan Bratman and is already said to be dating Matthew D. Rutler, a set assistant from “Burlesque.” She and Rutler were photographed leaving SoHo House with Joel Madden and Nicole Richie (click HERE for those photos).
As for the pregnancy rumors…they are just that. RUMOR. Girl has packed on a few pounds and I think it suits her. So what if she is seeking solace in corn dogs and hot men? As long as she isn’t snorting coke of the belly buttons of male prostitutes before locking them in a bathroom and beating up chandeliers, I think we can say “Oh, that Christina and her ho tricks!” before patting her on the head and sending her on her way.

Christina Aguilera Postpones Tour – Poor Ticket Sales To Blame?!?

The genie has gone back in her bottle for the time being now that her comeback doesn’t seem to be going as planned. Christina Aguilera has pulled the plug on her summer tour, pushing it back to 2011, claiming that she needs more time to prepare due to her hectic schedule and leaving fans very angry, with some claiming they have no intention of getting tickets for the new dates.
Per Ace Showbiz:
“Christina Aguilera’s summer tour has been moved to 2011 due to prior commitments that the singer had made to her film ‘Burlesque‘ and to the promotion of her new album ‘Bionic‘,” a statement from her camp read. “The singer felt she needed more time to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album release and tour date this wasn’t possible.”
I’ve heard of a lot of excuses for canceling tours over the years, but bless her heart for coming up with a new one. While that may be the announced reason for the postponement, one can’t help but to wonder if it’s due to the lack of ticket sales, especially after her latest public rift with Lady Gaga (Read about that here.) Her reasoning is odd for a few reasons. Traditionally, concerts are how you promote a new album, so saying she has to cancel concerts to promote the album is sort of a catch 22. Also, this is still three months away. How much rehearsal time could Christina really need? Filming on the movie wrapped in March, so what big “commitments” other than promotion which, you know concerts kinda do, could she have? Most likely Christina is using this all as an excuse because the tour was facing disastrous sales. Oh well, I guess her backup dancers are free to cough as they please for a little while longer without receiving a death stare.
