Grammy 2010 Full Winner’s List, Photos and Videos

[Lady Gaga and Elton John Grammy's 2010 Opening Performance - Video]

Lady Gaga and Elton John delivered an opening performance that reminded us that even not-so-sexy people are suddenly desirable when they can sing. She was wearing another one of her signature swimsuits on steroids complete with a Kelly Kapowski above the hip cut. Elton had on his Sunday Tea glitter glasses and the two sang a mix of Gaga’s song “Speechless” and John’s “Your Song.”

The night was packed with performances by Black Eyed Peas, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, Dave Matthews Band, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige and a slew of others. Pink was one performance that gave me a case of the holyshizs as she twirled around in the air on a giant pashmina while singing “Glitter in the Air.”

Jennifer Hudson, Celine Dion, Usher, Carrie Underwood, Smokey Robinson sang “Earth Song” (aka “What About Us”) along with the Michael Jackson recording in a 3D video for the song.

Carrie Underwood Shows off Her Engagement Ring-Photo

It didn’t take long for country crooner Carrie Underwood to show off her man’s ice…her engagement ring that is.

carrie-underwood-engagement-ring

While watching her finace Mike Fisher take care of his business Monday night, Underwood showed off her massive rock to her friend…and everyone else in the arena.

Via Popeater:

“The massive rock, which seems to have stunned both the singer and her wine-having friend, is a brand-new addition to Underwood’s hand.

Fisher proposed to the ‘Before He Cheats’ beauty on Sunday. ‘I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier,’ her rep said. ‘No wedding date has been set at this time.’”

Fisher, who plays for the Ottawa Senators, and Underwood have kept a relatively low-profile about their relationship. However, it seems a little bling outdoes privacy any day of the week.

CMA Awards 2009 Winners List, Photos and Video

[Carrie Underwood - I Told You So - 2009 CMA Awards]

The 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards were held last night. Surprisingly there was a lot of great style going on. (Yes, I know it’s about music dear Cara, not dresses. But I can’t help myself.) Stars of the country world came out in full force and poor Jessica Simpson was robbed of her country glory. *Please note sarcasm and the my inability to type that with a straight face.

[Miley Cyrus- The Climb - CMA Awards 2009]

Carrie Underwood did clean up in the awards department taking home the accolades for Entertainer of the Year and Top Female Vocalist. I am sure LeAnn Rimes is already telling everyone who will listen that Carrie slept with 6 members of the academy and that’s the only reason she won. I believe it was last year or perhaps the year before Rimes took to her blog to rant about how Underwood didn’t deserve her winnings. Regardless, it was a gorgeous night filled with enough glitter and cowboy boots to make the musical rodeo hosted by Reba McEntire a hit.

Britney Spears and Madonna Performance Photos and Video

Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were to be reunited thanks to Madonna. She managed to get both pop stars to make a guest appearance on her stop at Dodger Stadium. Fans were in a frenzy and trading their kidney’s for front row seats to the show.

However, they must have left very disappointed. Justin and Britney were not on stage at the same time. Spears appeared on stage for Madge’s third song, “Human Nature.” She actually looked great. I was expecting her to bust out a leather corset and wear her thong on the outside of her pants. After the two finished their duet, Britney exited the stage and Justin Timberlake joined Madonna after the coast was clear to sing “4 Minutes.”

No word on any face to face meetings backstage for the former lovers. Brit left immediately after Justin performed surrounded by bodyguards. However, Madonna’s ho, Alex Rodriguez, was in the audience. Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum and Carrie Underwood were also patrons of the show. Hayden Panettiere, Fergie, Kate Moss and Dennis Quaid were also hopeful to see the reunion.
