Casey Affleck decided to play film-maker last year and chronicled the rapid decline of this brother-in-law Joaquin Phoenix from actor to some kind of hip-hop performer (read about that debauchery HERE).
It seems that when cameras weren’t rolling, Affleck had a difficult time keeping his hands off the ladies who worked for him and his mouth shut…at least that’s what one of the “I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix” documentary producers is claiming.
Former documentary producer Amanda White has slapped Affleck with a $2 million lawsuit claiming he repeatedly sexually harassed her during the film’s production.
Via People:
In her 19-page complaint, White alleges Affleck, 34, referred to women as “cows” and openly discussed his sexual exploits in front of her. The producer also alleges Affleck, who since 2006 has been married to Phoenix’s sister Summer, and the film’s star once took over her hotel room in Costa Rica to entertain two women and that Affleck also once tried to get her to spend the night with him in his hotel room in San Francisco.
Her lawsuit says Affleck became “hostile and aggressive” when she refused and “violently grabbed her arm in an effort to intimidate her into staying.”
Affleck, however, has fired back claiming the allegations not only to be false, but has stated that White is merely a disgruntled employee as she was released from working with the film over a year ago.
